Blessing for the Torah:
Baruch atah YHVH, Eloheynu, Melech ha-O’lam, asher
bachar banu m’kol ha-amim,
v’natan lanu eht Torah-to. Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn
ha-Torah. Ameyn.”
(Blessed are you, YHVH, our Elohim , King of the Universe,
you have selected us from among all the peoples,
and have given us your Torah.
Blessed are you, YHVH, giver of the Torah. Ameyn.)
We read in
the book of Yasher that when Yosef’s brothers first came to Egypt(Mitzrayim) to
seek food they first looked for their long lost brother. The brothers sought
Yosef in the brothrels of Mitzrayim because he was a good looking lad and they
reasoned that Yosef would have been sold to one these brothel owners.
Chapter 51
6 And whilst the sons of Jacob were going on the road, they repented of
what they had done to Joseph, and they spoke to each other, saying, We know
that our brother Joseph went down to Egypt, and now we will seek him where we
go, and if we find him we will take him from his master for a ransom, and if
not, by force, and we will die for him.
12 And when the sons of
Jacob came into the city, they joined together in the city to seek Joseph
before they bought themselves corn.
13 And they went to the
walls of the harlots, and they sought Joseph in the walls of the harlots for
three days, for they thought that Joseph would come in the walls of the
harlots, for Joseph was very comely and well favored, and the sons of Jacob
sought Joseph for three days, and they could not find him. End quote.
For “three days” (over 2000 years)
“his brothers still seek for him in the whore houses of religion”
Gen 42:18 Now Yosĕph said to them the third day, “Do
this and live, for I fear Elohim:
Gen 42:19 “If you are trustworthy, let one of your
brothers be confined to your prison
house, and you, go, bring grain for the scarcity of food of your houses.
Gen 42:20 “And bring your youngest brother to me, and
let your words be confirmed, and you do not die.” And so they did.
Vs 19 speaks of “your prison house” (Strongs 4929 Mishmarchem) meaning
“your prison.”
Once again the Torah gives us allegorical insights as to the self
imposed prison we find ourselves in when we are not walking in the revelation
of our Redeemer Messiah.
The Torah wants to
show us that it was the guilt of the brothers that put them in their own self
imposed slavery.
We too in this day are
in a kind of prison because we do not recognize our older brother Yahshua as
the deliverer and redeemer of all of Yisrael. Today many who believe in him do
not acknowledge and recognize that he has come for the lost sheep of the house
of Yisrael. It may be that we too will
have to go through many tribulations before we recognize him for who he truly
is. Today the church still ascribes to him a kind of Egyptian status. Yosef was
much more than an Egyptian king – he was The
Hebrew sent by YHVH to redeem first of all his very own brothers from
bondage. No one is excluded as long as they desire and yield to be grafted into
the Tree of Yisrael – The Tree of Life – The Torah of YHVH.
Gen 42:21 And they said to each other, “Truly, we are
guilty concerning our brother, for we saw the distress of his life when he
pleaded with us, yet we did not listen, that is why this distress has come upon
us.”
It still distresses our Hebrew Messiah that we do not recognize him as
the Torah Teacher sent by his Father to bring us back to the ancient ways of
our forefathers – Avraham, Yitzchak and Yakov.
The Torah seems to be
showing us here that we will not come to see Messiah as he is meant to be seen
until we have gone through severe trials and tribulations.
If Yahshua learned
obedience through the things which he suffered (Heb 5:8) why will we who claim
to be his followers not also experience the same?
If Yahshua came in the fullness of the Torah, he must be proclaimed in
the fullness of the Torah.
Psa 40:7 Then I said, “See, I have come; In the scroll
of the Book it is prescribed for me.
Psa 40:8 I have delighted to do Your pleasure, O my
Elohim, And Your Torah is within my heart1.” Footnote: 1Ps.

Today we are blessed
with the writings of Shaul (Paul) whose revelations of Messiah as having coming
in the “fullness of the scroll” have been unsurpassed until now. Many today
misunderstand Shaul like they did when he originally wrote his epistles.
2Pe 3:16 as
also in all his letters, speaking in them concerning these matters,
in which some are hard to understand,1 which those who are untaught
and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do also the other

Paul understood and
paid the price with his very life that the revelation of Messiah could not only
be taught; it had to be seen in the life of every rabbi and disciple who wanted
to make the Messiah known to others.
How many teachers of Messiah today proclaim a Messiah who obeyed the
Torah perfectly and taught others to do the same?
Not because he was a legalist but because he knew that this was the one
true irrefutable evidence that he loved his Father.
1Jn 5:1 Everyone who believes that יהושע is the Messiah has been born of
Elohim, and everyone who loves the One bringing forth also loves the one having
been born of Him.
1Jn 5:2 By this we
know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim and guard His
commands.
1Jn 5:3 For this
is the love for Elohim, that we guard His commands,1 and His

2Jn 1:6 And this is the love, that we walk according
to His commands.1 This is the command, that as you have heard from

2Jn 1:7 Because many who are leading astray went out
into the world who do not confess יהושע Messiah as coming in the flesh. This one is he who is leading
astray and the anti-messiah.
2Jn 1:8 See to
yourselves, that we do not lose what we worked for, but that we might receive a
complete reward.
2Jn 1:9 Everyone
who is transgressing and not staying in the teaching of Messiah does not
possess Elohim.1 The one who stays in the teaching of Messiah

2Jn 1:10 If anyone
comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your
house nor greet him,
2Jn 1:11 for he
who greets him shares in his wicked works.
Today many who claim to believe in Messiah have recreated him according
to their own imagination and understanding. This is idolatry. An idol is a lie.
We have all been taught to believe lies about the Messiah – both Jew and
gentile – in fact this is why the prophet says we have inherited folly from our
fathers.
Jer 16:19 O יהוה, my strength and my stronghold and my refuge, in the day of
distress the gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say,
“Our fathers have inherited only falsehood, futility, and there is no value in

Let us look a little deeper into Pauline revelation of Messiah:
Gal 4:4 But when the completion of the time came,
Elohim sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under Torah,
Gal 4:5 to redeem those who were under Torah, in order
to receive the adoption as sons.
There are some in the
church who would call the Torah a curse. How is it possible that Yahshua came
into the world under a curse?
The Torah is only a
curse to those who wilfully and continually disobey it. Yahshua has come to
redeem us from our inborn rebellion against the Torah of YHVH. (Deut 28)
Gal 4:4 ובמלאת הימים שלח האלהים את־בנו ילוד אשה ונתון תחת יד־התורה׃

יד־התורה למען נקבל משפט הבנים׃
Col 1:26 the secret which has been hidden from ages
and from generations, but now has been revealed to His set-apart ones,
Col 1:27 to whom Elohim desired to make known what are
the riches of the esteem of this secret among the gentiles: which is Messiah in
you,1 the expectancy of esteem,
Col 2:1 For I wish you to know what a great struggle
I have for you and those in Laodikeia, and for as many as have not seen my face
in the flesh,
Col 2:2 in order that their hearts might be
encouraged, being knit together in love, and to all riches of the entire confirmation of understanding,
to a true knowledge of the secret of Elohim, and of the Father, and of the
Messiah,
Col 2:3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of

Col 2:4 And this I say, so that no one deceives you
with enticing words.
1Ti 3:16 And, beyond all question, the secret of
reverence(adoration) is great – who(God appears in modern translations and not
found in the original) was revealed in the flesh, declared right in Spirit, was
seen by messengers, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world,
was taken up in esteem.

Gen 42:22 And Re’uḇĕn
answered them, saying, “Did I not speak to you, saying, ‘Do not sin against the
boy,’ and you would not listen? And see, his blood is now required of us.”
Gen 42:23
And they did not know that Yosĕph understood them, for he spoke to them
through an interpreter.
Gen 42:24
And he turned himself away from them and wept, but came back to them and
spoke to them. And he took Shimʽon from them and bound
him before their eyes.
Gen 42:25
And Yosĕph commanded and they filled their sacks with grain, also to put
back every man’s silver to his sack, and to give them food for the journey. And
thus it was done for them.
Gen 42:26 So
they loaded their donkeys with the grain and went from there.
Gen 42:27
And as one of them opened his sack to give his donkey fodder at the
lodging place, he saw his silver, for there it was in the mouth of his sack!
Gen 42:28
And he said to his brothers, “My silver has been returned, and there it
is, in my sack!” And their hearts sank and they were afraid, saying to each
other, “What is this that Elohim has done to us?”
Gen 42:29 So
they came to Yaʽaqoḇ their father in the
land of Kenaʽan and reported to him
all that befell them, saying,
Gen 42:30
“The man, the master of the land, spoke to us harshly, and took us for
spies of the land.
Gen 42:31
“But we said to him, ‘We are trustworthy, we are not spies.
Gen 42:32
‘We are twelve brothers, sons of our father. One is no more, and the
youngest is today with our father in the land of Kenaʽan.’
Gen 42:33
“And the man, the master of the land, said to us, ‘By this I know that
you are trustworthy: Leave one of your brothers here with me, and take food for
the scarcity of food of your households, and go.
Gen 42:34
‘And bring your youngest brother to me, then I know that you are not
spies, but that you are trustworthy – I give your brother to you, and you move
about in the land.’ ”
Gen 42:35
And it came to be as they emptied their sacks, that look, the bundle of
each man’s silver was in his sack! And when they and their father saw the
bundles of silver, they were afraid.
Gen 42:36
And Yaʽaqoḇ their father said to
them, “You have bereaved me – Yosĕph is no more, and Shimʽon is no more, and you
would take Binyamin! All this is against me.”
Gen 42:37 So
Re’uḇĕn spoke to his
father, saying, “Take the lives of my two sons if I do not bring him back to
you. Put him in my hands, and I myself bring him back to you.”
Gen 42:38
But he said, “My son is not going down with you, for his brother is
dead, and he is left alone. If any harm should come to him along the way in
which you go, then you would bring down my grey hair with sorrow to the grave.”
Gen 43:1 But the scarcity of food was severe in the
land.
Gen 43:2 And it came to be, when they had eaten up the
grain which they had brought from Mitsrayim, that their father said to them,
“Go back, buy us a little food.”
Gen 43:3 But Yehuḏah
spoke to him, saying, “The man vehemently warned us, saying, ‘You do not see my
face unless your brother is with you.’ ”
Gen 43:4 “If
you let our brother go with us, we go down and buy you food.
Gen 43:5
“But if you do not let him go, we do not go down, because the man said
to us, ‘You do not see my face unless your brother is with you.’ ”
Gen 43:6 And
Yisra’ĕl said, “Why did you do evil to me to inform the man that you still had another
brother?”
Gen 43:7 And
they said, “The man kept asking about us and our relatives, saying, ‘Is your
father still alive? Have you another brother?’ And we informed him
according to these words. How could we know that he would say, ‘Bring your
brother down’?”
Gen 43:8 And
Yehuḏah said to Yisra’ĕl
his father, “Send the boy with me, and let us arise and go, and live and not
die, both we and you and also our little ones.
Gen 43:9 “I
myself shall stand guaranty for him – from my hand you are to require him. If I
do not bring him back to you and set him before you, then let me bear the blame
forever.
Gen 43:10
“For if we had not delayed, truly by now we could have returned this
second time.”
Gen 43:11
And their father Yisra’ĕl said to them, “If so, then do this: Take some
of the best fruit of the land in your vessels and bring a present down for the
man, a little balm and a little honey, spices and myrrh, nuts and almonds.
Gen 43:12
“And take double silver in your hand, and take back in your hand the
silver that was returned in the mouth of your sacks. It could have been a
mistake.
Gen 43:13
“And take your brother, and arise, go back to the man.
Gen 43:14
“And Ěl Shaddai give to you compassion before the man, so that he shall
release your other brother and Binyamin. And I, if I am bereaved, I am
bereaved!”
Gen 43:15
And the men took that present and Binyamin, and they took double the
amount of silver in their hand, and arose and went down to Mitsrayim, and stood
before Yosĕph.
Gen 43:16
And Yosĕph saw Binyamin with them, and said to the one over his house,
“Bring the men home, and make a great slaughter, and prepare, for these men are
to eat with me at noon.”
Gen 43:17
And the man did as Yosĕph said, and the man brought the men into
Yosĕph’s house.
Gen 43:18
And the men were afraid because they were brought into Yosĕph’s house.
And they said, “It is because of the silver, which was put back into our sacks
the first time, that we are brought in, to throw himself upon us and fall upon
us, to take us as slaves, our donkeys too.”
Gen 43:19 So
they came near to the man over the house of Yosĕph, and spoke to him at the
door of the house,
Gen 43:20
and said, “O my master, we indeed came down the first time to buy food,
Gen 43:21
but it came to be, when we came to the lodging place, that we opened our
sacks and saw each man’s silver in the mouth of his sack, our silver in its
weight. And we have brought it back in our hand.
Gen 43:22
“And we have brought down other silver in our hands to buy food. We do
not know who put our silver in our sacks.”
Gen 43:23
But he said, “Peace be with you, do not be afraid. Your Elohim and the
Elohim of your father has given you treasure in your sacks – your silver had
come to me!” And he brought Shimʽon
out to them.
Who will labour amongst the nations
until Yahshua be formed in them.
Gal 4:19 My little children, for whom I am again in
birth pains until Messiah is formed in you,
Perhaps there is an emerging remnant amongst the gentiles who are beginning
to receive and walk in a fuller revelation of Messiah – AND ARE TRULY WILLING
TO PAY THE PRICE TO MAKE HIM KNOWN.
Rom 11:5 So therefore also, at this present time a
remnant according to the choice of favour has come to be.
Rom 11:6 And if by favour, it is no longer of works,
otherwise favour is no longer favour. And if it is of works, it is no longer
favour, otherwise work is no longer work.
Rom 11:7 What then? Yisra’ĕl has not obtained what it
seeks, but the chosen did obtain it, and the rest were hardened.
Rom 11:8 As it has been written, “יהוה has given them a spirit of deep
sleep, eyes not to see and ears not to hear, unto this day.”
Even Christians have walked in a state of blindness
regarding the Messiah. It has only been recently that many who have been saved
by the blood of Messiah are now beginning to search for the true identity of
the Messiah as found in our Hebraic roots.
