Parashat 1 Portion 4 Ber/Gen 5:1-6:8 Yesh/Is 30:8-15 Matt 23:1-29

Bar’chu et YHVH ha-m’vorach, Baruch YHVH ha-m’vorach l’O’lam va-ed! Baruch ata YHVH
Eloheinu melech ha-olam asher bachar banu m’kol ha-amim, v’na-tan lanu eht Torah-to.
Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn ha-Torah. Ameyn.”

(Bless YHVH the blessed One; Blessed is YHVH, the blessed One for all eternity. Blessed are you, YHVH, our Elohim, King of the Universe, you have selected us from among all the peoples, and have given us your Torah. Blessed are you, YHVH, giver of the Torah. Ameyn.)

Isa 30:8  And go, write it before them on a tablet, and inscribe it on a scroll, that it is for a latter day, a witness forever:
Isa 30:9  that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children who refuse to hear the Torah of יהוה,
Isa 30:10  who say to the seers, “Do not see,” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us what is right. Speak to us what is smooth, prophesy deceits. Isa 30:11  “Turn aside from the way, swerve from the path, cause the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl to cease from before us.” Isa 30:12  Therefore thus said the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, “Because you despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and rely on them, Isa 30:13  therefore this crookedness is to you like a breach ready to fall, a bulge in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly, swiftly.” Isa 30:14  And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter’s vessel, which is broken in pieces, without sparing, so that there is not found among its fragments a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water from the cistern. (Jer 2:13)Isa 30:15  For thus said the Master יהוה (Adonai YHVH), the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl, “In returning and rest you are saved, in stillness and trust is your strength.” But you would not,

Gen 5:1  This is the book of the genealogy of Aḏam. In the day that Elohim created man, He made him in the likeness of Elohim. Gen 5:2  Male and female He created them, and He blessed them, and called their name ‘Aḏam’ in the day they were created. Gen 5:3  And Aḏam lived one hundred and thirty years, and brought forth a son in his own likeness, after his image, and called his name Shĕth.

Adam – (S121&S120) – Man – can be man or woman.
 “Sheth” (S8352 & 7896) – “Shyth” – to place or appoint.

Gen 5:4  And after he brought forth Shĕth, the days of Aḏam were eight hundred years. And he brought forth sons and daughters. Gen 5:5  So all the days that Aḏam lived were nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.
Gen 5:6  And Shĕth lived one hundred and five years, and brought forth Enosh.

“Enosh” (S583&582&S605) – Mortal man - desperate, incurable, desperately wicked – sorrowful or melancholic.
One of the most common titles for Yashua was the “Son of Adam”. Yahshua is referred to as the Son of Man/Adam 88 times in the Apostolic scriptures and only 47 times as the Son of Elohim.
Yahshua is also referred to as the second man and the last Adam 1 Cor 15:45-48
We could then say that the names in this Parasha  also tell us a story about Messiah.
“The Son of Man is appointed to sorrow”  This could also imply that the Son of Man was appointed
to bear on himself the wickedness of men.”  See also Is/Yes 53:3

Gen 5:7  And after he brought forth Enosh, Shĕth lived eight hundred and seven years, and brought forth sons and daughters. Gen 5:8  So all the days of Shĕth were nine hundred and twelve years, and he died.
Gen 5:9  And Enosh lived ninety years, and brought forth Qĕynan.

Quote: “Qeynan” (S7018(not 7014) & S7064 & S7077) – possession – chamber or dwelling – to make a nest.
“Another possibility (and favored by us here at Abarim Publications) is that the name Kenan comes from the verb קין (qin), meaning to chant a dirge (Amos 8:10). This verb comes from the noun קינה (qina), meaning lamentation, or a sad poem which is sung (Jeremiah 7:19, Ezekiel 2:10). A strong clue that the name Kenan (with the troublesome double nun) indeed comes from this word group lies in the existence of a verb that HAW Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament gracefully skips but which is well featured in BDB Theological Dictionary. It's the verb קונן (qwnn), meaning to chant a dirge (Ezekiel 27:32, 1 Samuel 1:17) – see also S7015&6969’’

That way the name Kenan means Lamenter.
However, through the apparently related name Kenite, Jones' Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names notes a relation to the verb קנן (qinnen), meaning to make a nest (Isaiah 34:15). That way the name Kenan may mean Nester. Perhaps the cry of the eagle reminded the Hebrews of lamenting. Perhaps the two have nothing to do with each other.
When man realized his state, he realized his only hope was to become YHVH’s possession again. Man needed YHVH to come and take residence within his life. Man’s heart or inner chamber needed to be ruled by the Ruach of YHVH and nourished by His Torah.
The Ruach of YHVH “nested” in Yahshua – he only did what his Father showed him.

Something went wrong with man and could only be repaired if YHVH could enter into man’s life and restore him again.
So far we have through the meaning of the names as in order, the sentence:  “Man was placed in a desperate situation – he needed YHVH to come and “nest” in his heart..

Gen 5:10  And after he brought forth Qĕynan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and brought forth sons and daughters. Gen 5:11  So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, and he died.
Gen 5:12  And Qĕynan lived seventy years, and brought forth Mahalal’ĕl.

Mahal-El(S4111) – Praise of El – Yahshua was the praise of Elohim. Yahshua was our only hope of becoming reconciled to YHVH so that we could bring YHVH the praise His son gave Him.
Jer 17:14  Heal me, O יהוה, so that I am healed. Save me, so that I am saved, for You are my praise.

Gen 5:13  After he brought forth Mahalal’ĕl, Qĕynan lived eight hundred and forty years, and brought forth sons and daughters. Gen 5:14  So all the days of Qĕynan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.
Gen 5:15  And Mahalal’ĕl lived sixty-five years, and brought forth Yereḏ.“Yared/Yered” (S3382) to go downward.Gen 5:16  And after he brought forth Yereḏ, Mahalal’ĕl lived eight hundred and thirty years, and brought forth sons and daughters. Gen 5:17  So all the days of Mahalal’ĕl were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he died.
Gen 5:18  And Yereḏ lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and brought forth Ḥanoḵ.

“Chanok” S2585 – means dedicated.
Yahshua dedicated himself to deliver humanity from their frightful predicament.
Gen 5:19  And after he brought forth Ḥanoḵ, Yereḏ lived eight hundred years, and brought forth sons and daughters.
Gen 5:20  So all the days of Yereḏ were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he died.
Gen 5:21  And Ḥanoḵ lived sixty-five years, and brought forth Methushelaḥ.

Methushelach S4968 – “man of the dart” or literally “dying he shall send”
“Methuselah (Hebrew: מְתוּשֶׁלַח / מְתוּשָׁלַח, Modern Metušélaħ / MetušálaħTiberian Məṯûšélaḥ / Məṯûšālaḥ ; "Man of the dart/spear", or alternatively "his death shall bring judgment") is the man reported to have lived the longest at the age of 969 in the Hebrew Bible. Extra-biblical tradition maintains that he died on the 11th of Cheshvan of the year 1656AM (Anno Mundi, after Creation), seven days before the beginning of the Great Flood.”
Gen 5:22  And after he brought forth Methushelaḥ, Ḥanoḵ walked with Elohim three hundred years, and brought forth sons and daughters. Gen 5:23  So all the days of Ḥanoḵ were three hundred and sixty-five years.
Gen 5:24  And Ḥanoḵ walked with Elohim. Then he was no more, for Elohim took him.
Gen 5:25  And Methushelaḥ lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and brought forth Lemeḵ.

“Lamech” S3929 – Morfix – to become impoverished.
Etymology and meaning of the name Lamech
The word למך (lmk) does not occur in Hebrew, so we are left to guess at its meaning. BDB remains silent on the subject, but both Jones' Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names and NOBSE Study Bible Name List suggest relations to a Semitic root that doesn't occur in the Biblical narrative but which also exists in Arabic, meaning strong and robust young man. Jones' Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names reads Powerful
To a creative audience, the name Lamech may also be seen as a construct of the particle ל (le), meaning to or towards: ‘’מוך’’ The verb מוך (muk) is used to denote impoverished Israelites and occurs twice: Leviticus 25:47 and 27:8.
Gen 5:26  And after he brought forth Lemeḵ, Methushelaḥ lived seven hundred and eighty-two years, and brought forth sons and daughters. Gen 5:27  So all the days of Methushelaḥ were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.
Gen 5:28  And Lemeḵ lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and brought forth a son,
Gen 5:29  and called his name Noaḥ, saying, “This one does comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground which יהוה has cursed.”
“Noach” S5146 – Rest or comfort.
Gen 5:30  And after he brought forth Noaḥ, Lemeḵ lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and brought forth sons and daughters. Gen 5:31  So all the days of Lemeḵ were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and he died.
Gen 5:32  And Noaḥ was five hundred years old, and Noaḥ brought forth Shĕm, Ḥam, and Yepheth.

So now we can read the sentence coming out of the meaning of all these names of the genealogy of ADAM: ‘’Man (Adam) is appointed to sorrow - man opened his heart to the praise of Elohim who came down to earth and dedicated himself to YHVH, being willing to lay down his life for an impoverished people and so YHVH gave men rest.’’ Or..
“The Elohim-Man is appointed, a mortal man of sorrow is born! The Esteem of YHVH shall come down from heaven and teach men that by means of His death He shall comfort those who mourn.”
This message also ties in with the Messiah’s first sermon recorded in the book of Mattityahu/Matthew – see footnote on Yahshua’s sermons and the Torah.
Gen 6:1  And it came to be, when men began to increase on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them,
Gen 6:2  that the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. Gen 6:3  And יהוה said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever in his going astray. He is flesh, and his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” Gen 6:4  The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of Elohim came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, the men of name. Gen 6:5  And יהוה saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Gen 6:6  And יהוה was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. Gen 6:7  And יהוה said, “I am going to wipe off man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping creature and birds of the heavens, for I am sorry that I have made them.” Gen 6:8  But Noaḥ found favour in the eyes of יהוה.

Baruch atah YHVH, Eloheynu, Melech ha-‘Olam, asher natan lanu Toraht-emet, v’chay-yeh o’lam nata-b’tochenu. Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn ha-Torah. Ameyn.”

(Blessed are you YHVH, our Elohim, King of the Universe, you have given us your Torah of truth, and have planted everlasting life within our midst. Blessed are you, YHVH giver of the Torah – Ameyn)
How the five books of Moshe correspond to Yahshua’s five sermons in Mattitayahu

1.       The book of Beresheet/Genisis corresponds with ‘’ The Sermon on the Mount (5:1‑7:28) – “Ha drasha al ha ar”

2.       The book of Shemot/Exodus corresponds with the calling of Yahshua’s disciples -The Messianic family tree (10:1‑42)

Note the similarities between Shemot/Exodus and the opening verses of Yahshua’s second drasha
Remember the word “Shemot” means “names.”
The same two words are used in the opening chapter of Exodus – ve ele shemot – “these are the names”
Exo 1:1  And these are the names….Mat 10:2 – in Hebrew ואלה שמות
   Mat 10:2  And these are the names of the twelve emissaries: first, Shimʽon, who is called Kĕpha, and Andri his brother; Yaʽaqoḇ the son of Zaḇdai, and Yoḥanan his brother;
The Parable/Priestly Discourse (13:1‑53)

3.       The book of Vayikra/Leviticus – is about the calling of a set apart priesthood – a people who hear the call of YHVH to dedicate themselves to Him and to His Service – “va yikra means and He called” Yahshua speaks in parables because only those who are called to be set apart priesthood will understand the parables Yahshua taught.

Mat 13:10  And the taught ones came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”
Mat 13:11  And He answering, said to them, “Because it has been given to you to know the secrets of the reign of the heavens, but to them it has not been given.
Mat 13:12  “For whoever possesses, to him more shall be given, and he shall have overflowingly;  but whoever does not possess, even what he possesses shall be taken away from him.
Mat 13:13  “Because of this I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
Mat 13:14  “And in them the prophecy of Yeshayahu is completely filled, which says, ‘Hearing you shall hear and by no means understand, and seeing you shall see and by no means perceive,
Mat 13:15  for the heart of this people has become thickened, and their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their heart, and turn back, and I heal them.’
Mat 13:16  “And blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear,
Mat 13:17  for truly I say to you, that many prophets and righteous ones longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.

4.       The book of Numbers/Bemidbar is about the ‘’The Calling and Counting of the Kehelah/Congretation of YHVH (17:22‑18:35)’’

Mat 17:23  and they shall kill Him, and the third day He shall be raised up.” And they were deeply grieved.
Mat 17:24  And when they came into Kephar Naḥum, those who received the tax came to Kĕpha and said, “Does your Teacher not pay the tax?”
Mat 17:25  He said, “Yea.” And when he came into the house, יהושע spoke to him first, saying, “What do you think, Shimʽon? From whom do the sovereigns of the earth take toll or tax, from their own sons or from the strangers?”
Mat 17:26  Kĕpha then said to Him, “From the strangers.” יהושע said to him, “Then the sons are exempt.
Mat 17:27  “But, lest we cause them to stumble, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you shall find a piece of money. Take that and give it to them for Me and you.”

This is interesting Yahshua is talking about his death and then goes onto paying the temple tax – is there a connection.

The book of Bamidbar is about been numbering the redeemed of Yisrael in the wilderness. This was done by paying a tax – a beka– those who did so were numbered amongst the redeemed.
The Hebrew word for numbered is “Gulguletam” where we get the word “Golgatha”

Num 1:2  “Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Yisra’ĕl, by their clans, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, every male, head by head,

Translation – Lift up the head of the sons of Yisrael – the families of their father’s houses – numbering their names each male by his skull.

The word “gulgolet” where the name Golgotha(skull) comes from was a strange way to express the counting of people… only those who were willing to lay down their lives for the sake of the kingdom would be worth of being counted.

Mat 22:14  “For many are called, but few are chosen.”1 Footnote:1See 20:16.

The Apocalyptic Discourse (24:1‑25:46)

The book of Devarim/Deuteronomy – Words – means words or things – this book was the entire Torah retold in Moshe’s life and words. He was able to internalize and reproduce YHVH’s Torah in his own words and understand them as they related to his own life and death.
Yahshua quoted more from ‘’Devarim’’’than any other book in the Torah.
The only way we will understand and survive the last days is if we have internalized the Torah.

Mat 24:3  And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the taught ones came to Him separately, saying, “Say to us, when shall this be, and what is the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
Mat 24:4  And יהושע answering, said to them, “Take heed that no one leads you astray.
Mat 24:5  “For many shall come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’(anointed one) and they shall lead many astray.

Parashat 1 Portion 3 Ber 4:1-26 Yer 1:1-19 1John 3:9-16

Ameyn.)

Gen 4:1  And Aḏam knew Ḥawwah his wife, and she conceived and bore Qayin, and said, “I have gained a man from יהוה.”

The sages believe that because Qayin(S7014) was the first born Chava decided to dedicate him to the service of YHVH – the root word “kana” can also mean “acquired or gained,” (see S 7069)
We also see here the beginning of a pattern where YHVH does not always choose the first born for His purposes. We also see here how this spirit of Cain has influenced future generations.

Jud 1:11  Woe to them! Because they have gone in the way of Qayin, and gave themselves to the delusion of Bilʽam for a reward, and perished in the rebellion of Qoraḥ.

The name “Qayin” has roots in the languages and culture of the ancient Semitic world.
In Arabic this name refers to someone who works with iron – “a Smith” – implying someone who forges or changes the shape of iron – The implication that such people set out to reshape things for their own purposes see Strongs 7014 – “Smiths”.

Moshe’s father in law Yitro was related to the ancient Kenite tribe, who were known to be workers with iron. The ancient Nabatians are also known to have come from this Kenite tribe and who were also responsible for building the ancient desert fortress of Petra.

Yet in spite of all these connections with Qayin – Yitro is the name given to Parashat 17 – Matan Ha Torah – the giving of the Torah – perhaps one of the most important Torah portions.

“According to the critical interpretation of the Biblical data, the Kenites were a clan settled on the southern border of Judah, originally more advanced in arts than the Hebrews, and from whom the latter learned much. In the time of David, the Kenites were finally incorporated into the tribe of Judah (I Sam. xxx. 29; comp. ib. xxvii. 10). Their eponymous ancestor was Cain (Kain), to whose descendants in Gen. iv. attributes the invention of the art of working bronze and iron, the use of instruments of music -  http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/9279-kenites

The same spelling as Qayin can also mean “spear” Strongs 7013 see 2Sam 21:16.
The spear was the assumed instrument of choice for the first murderer of Hevel (Abel) by his brother Qayin. This same spirit continues to manifest itself against those chosen by YHVH –

Note the context of how Qayin is referred to in this apostolic scripture:
1Jn 3:9  Everyone having been born of Elohim does not sin, because His seed stays in him, and he is powerless to sin, because he has been born of Elohim. (1Pet 1:23) (powerless to continue sinning)
1Jn 3:10  In this the children of Elohim and the children of the devil are manifest: Everyone not doing righteousness is not of Elohim,1 neither the one not loving his brother. Footnote: 1See 3 John v. 11.
1Jn 3:11  Because this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another,
1Jn 3:12  not as Qayin who was of the wicked one and killed his brother. And why did he kill him? Because his works were wicked but those of his brother were righteous.
1Jn 3:13  Do not marvel, my brothers, if the world hates you.1 Footnote: 1See John 15:18-19, John 17:14.
1Jn 3:14  We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. The one not loving his brother stays in death.
1Jn 3:15  Everyone hating his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has everlasting life staying in him.
1Jn 3:16  By this we have known love, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

Gen 4:2  And again, she gave birth to his brother Heḇel. And Heḇel became a keeper of sheep, but Qayin became a tiller of the ground.

“Abel or “Havel” means “breath” and he was a shepherd – “ro eh” Like the patriachs, Moshe and Dawid who chose a profession that permitted them to spend more time in solitude and contemplation of spiritual matters. Qayin chose an occupation though essential, could lead its practitioners to worship nature and enslave others to do the hard work on the fields” – Hirsch.
The cultivation of the fields seems best when done in harmony with YHVH’s redemptive appointments – moadim and commandments of Torah – (Shmitah and leaving gleanings for the poor)

Gen 4:3  And it came to be, in the course of time, that Qayin brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to יהוה.
Gen 4:4  And Heḇel also brought of the first-born of his flock and of their fat. And יהוה looked to Heḇel and his offering,

The acceptable offering of Hevel points to the whole sacrificial system – seen in Vayikra – Ez 44:17,18 – no sweat in YHVH’s Presence.
Gen 4:5  but He did not look to Qayin and his offering. And Qayin was very wroth, and his face fell.
Gen 4:6  And יהוה said to Qayin, “Why are you wroth? And why is your face fallen?
Gen 4:7  “If you do well, is there not acceptance? And if you do not do well, sin1 is crouching at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should master it.” Footnote: 1Sin (transgression of the law) was already then known, as we also read in 39:9.

If you had done what is well, would you not lift up your face? But if since you have not done well, at the portal there is a sin offering, a recliner; And for you is restoration in his sacrifice; You are ruling over him.

Gen 4:8  And Qayin told Heḇel his brother. And it came to be when they were in the field, that Qayin rose up against Heḇel his brother and killed him.
Gen 4:9  And יהוה said to Qayin, “Where is Heḇel your brother?” And he said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s guard?”
Gen 4:10  And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground.
In the Hebrew original, the words for "blood" and "cries" are written in the plural form, Why? Because this sad pattern would repeat itself again and again in history.
Gen 4:11  “And now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.
Gen 4:12  “If you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth.” (wander around aimlessly with trembling)
Gen 4:13  And Qayin said to יהוה, “My punishment is too great to bear!
Gen 4:14  “See, You have driven me from the face of the ground today, and I am hidden from Your face. I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and it shall be that anyone who finds me kills me.”
Gen 4:15  And יהוה said to him, “Well, if anyone kills Qayin, vengeance is taken on him sevenfold.” And יהוה set up a sign for Qayin, lest anyone finding him kills him.
Gen 4:16  So Qayin went out from the presence of יהוה and dwelt in the land of Noḏ (Heb – wondering) on the east of Ěḏen.
Gen 4:17  And Qayin knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Ḥanoḵ. And he built a city, and called the name of the city after the name of his son, Ḥanoḵ.
Gen 4:18  And to Ḥanoḵ was born Iraḏ. And Iraḏ brought forth Meḥuya’ĕl, and Meḥuya’ĕl brought forth Methusa’ĕl, and Methusa’ĕl brought forth Lemeḵ.
Gen 4:19  And Lemeḵ took for himself two wives, the name of one was Aḏah, and the name of the second was Tsillah.
Gen 4:20  And Aḏah bore Yaḇal. He was the father of those who dwell in tents, with livestock.
Gen 4:21  And his brother’s name was Yuḇal. He was the father of all those who play the lyre and flute.
Gen 4:22  As for Tsillah, she also bore Tuḇal-Qayin, a smith of all kinds of tools in bronze and iron. And the sister of Tuḇal-Qayin was Naʽamah.
Gen 4:23  And Lemeḵ said to his wives, “Aḏah and Tsillah, hear my voice! Wives of Lemeḵ, listen to my words! For I have killed a man for wounding me, even a young man for hurting me.
Gen 4:24  “For Qayin is avenged sevenfold, and Lemeḵ seventy-sevenfold.”
Gen 4:25  And Aḏam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and called his name Shĕth, “For Elohim has appointed me another seed instead of Heḇel, because Qayin had slain him.”
Gen 4:26  And to Shĕth, to him also a son was born. And he called his name Enosh. Then it was begun to call on the Name (Strongs 2490 – Heb “chalal” or profane” of יהוה1. Footnote: 1The first record of “calling on the Name of יהוה

Midrash:

Qayin’s descendants had and continue to have a major impact in the world. Let’s look at Canaans descendants:

Ham had four sons – Cush Mizraim Put and Canaan.

Cush – perhaps the most notorious descendent of Cush was Nimrod. The commentators tell us that before Nimrod there were neither wars nor Monarchs. Nimrod subjugated the Babylonians until they crowned him, after which he went to Assyria and built large cities. The Torah calls him a mighty hunter, which many believe must be interpreted figuratively. Nimrod ensnared men with his words and incited them to rebel against Elohim. He was the forerunner of the hypocrite who drapes himself in robes of piety in order to deceive the masses (Hirsh)  His first conquest, which laid the basis for his subsequent empire building, was Babel, which became the center of Nebuchadnezzars Babylonian Empire – see also Gen/Ber 10:8-12.

“Genesis 4:16-24 is a record of Cain's descendants who were as carnally and intellectually minded as Cain. The Bible records that they were either great builders of Large prominent monuments and cities, or great artificers and inventors of BEAUTIFUL metal objects, musical instruments, tools and weapons. They were also very ‘’religious’’.
Parallel to Ham's incest with his mother was Nimrod's marriage to his own mother, Semiramis. According to historian Alexander Hislop, author of 'The Two Babylons', Nimrod was killed by his great uncle, Shem, who could not tolerate his evil practices of the occult and baby sacrifice. Then his evil mother-wife deified him. In fact, he was the first human to be deified. Hislop stated “that Nimrod was the actual Father of the gods, as being the first of deified mortals”. His mother was later deified based on the argument that if Nimrod was a god, then his mother-wife must also be a goddess. “
That was how Papal Rome founded their worship of mother Mary and child Jesus.

"The God-man is brought forth, he was very dedicated (building a city for fugitives). The One smitten by Elohim is a mighty man of God!  He will produce great wealth (Tubal – Cain)‘’
