Deu 23:9  “When the camp goes out (ki tetze – 21:10) against your enemies, then you shall guard yourself from every evil matter.
(guard -venishmarta - passive – to be safeguarded ie you will be safeguarded from every evil matter. So it is with those who are called to the obedience of spiritual warfare.)
Deu 23:10  “When there is any man among you who is not clean because of an emission in the night, then he shall go outside the camp. Let him not come into the midst of the camp.
Deu 23:11  “And it shall be, at the approach [b] of evening, that he bathes with water. And when the sun sets let him come into the midst of the camp. Footnote: bLit. To the face of evening.
Deu 23:12  “And you shall have a place outside the camp, where you shall go out,
Deu 23:13  and you shall have a sharp implement among your equipment, and when you sit down outside, you shall dig with it and turn and cover your excrement.
Deu 23:14  “For יהוה your Elohim walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and give your enemies over to you. Therefore your camp shall be set-apart, so that He does not see unclean matter among you, and shall turn away from you.

Miscellaneous Laws – they are however all connected.
Deu 23:15  “You do not hand over to his master the slave who has escaped from his master to you.
Deu 23:16  “Let him dwell with you in your midst, in the place which he chooses within one of your gates, where it is pleasing to him. Do not oppress (mistreat) him.
Deu 23:17  “None of the daughters of Yisra’ěl is to be a cult prostitute,(kedesha) nor any of the sons of Yisra’ěl be a cult prostitute. (kadesh)
Deu 23:18  “Do not bring the harlot-fee of a whore or the pay of a dogc to the House of יהוה your Elohim for any vowed offering, for both of these are an abomination to יהוה your Elohim. Footnote: cMale prostitute.
Deu 23:19  “Do not lend at interest to your brother, interest of silver, interest of food, or interest of whatever is lent at interest.
Deu 23:20  “To a foreigner you lend at interest, but to your brother you do not lend at interest, so that יהוה your Elohim might bless you in all that you put your hand to in the land which you are entering to possess.
Deu 23:21  “When you make a vow to יהוה your Elohim, do not delay to pay it, for יהוה your Elohim is certainly requiring it of you, and it shall be sin in you.
Deu 23:22  “But when you abstain from vowing, it is not sin in you.
Deu 23:23  “That which has gone from your lips you shall guard and do, for you voluntarily vowed to יהוה your Elohim what you have promised with your mouth.
Deu 23:24  “When you come into your neighbour’s vineyard, you shall eat to the satisfaction of your desire, but do not put any in a receptacle of yours.
Deu 23:25  “When you come into your neighbour’s standing grain, you shall pluck the heads with your hand, but do not use a sickle on your neighbour’s standing grain.
Deu 24:1  “When a man takes a wife and shall marry her, then it shall be, if she finds no favour in his eyes because he has found a matter of uncoveredness [a] in her, and he shall write her a certificate of divorce, and put it in her hand, and send her out of his house, Footnote: aProof that she is not a maiden, indicating that she had previously been fornicating. See also Mat_5:32 and Mat_19:9
Deu 24:2  and if she left his house and went and became another man’s wife,
Deu 24:3  and the latter husband shall hate her and write her a certificate of divorce, and put it in her hand, and send her out of his house, or when the latter husband dies who took her to be his wife,
Deu 24:4  then her former husband who sent her away is not allowed to take her back to be his wife after she has been defiled, for that would be an abomination before יהוה. And do not bring sin on the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you as an inheritance.

Baruch atah YHVH, Eloheynu, Melech ha-‘Olam, asher natan lanu Toraht-emet, v’chay-yeh o’lam nata-b’tochenu. Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn ha-Torah. Ameyn.”

Deu 22:6  “When you come upon a bird’s nest along the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, with the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, do not take the mother with the young –
Deu 22:7  let the mother go without fail, and take the young for yourself, so that it might be well with you, and that you shall prolong your days. (compare with Exo 20:12  “Respect your father and your mother, so that your days are prolonged upon the soil which יהוה your Elohim is giving you.’’
In YHVH’s Kingdom everything we do and say is significant, no matter in His Kingdom is insignificant, every last detail of every aspect of our lives under His rule is significant.)
Deu 22:8  “When you build a new house, then you shall make a parapet for your roof, so that you do not bring blood-guilt on your house when one falls from it.
Deu 22:9  “Do not sow your vineyard with different kinds of seed, lest the yield of the seed which you have sown and the fruit of your vineyard be defiled.
We are born again from a perfect seed - 1Pe 1:23  having been born again – not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible – through the living Word of Elohim, which remains forever,

You cannot mix pagan festivals with YHVH’s Set Apart people.
Even a one pure language will be restored in the coming Kingdom – Zeph 3:8,9

Deu 22:10  “Do not plough with an ox and a donkey together.
Deu 22:11  “Do not put on a garment of different kinds, of wool and linen together.
Deu 22:12  “Make tassels on the four corners of the garment with which you cover yourself.

Laws Concerning Sexual Immorality
Deu 22:13  “When any man takes a wife, and shall go in to her, and shall hate her,
Deu 22:14  and shall make abusive charges against her and bring an evil name on her and say, ‘I took this woman, and when I came to - her I did not find her a maiden,’
Deu 22:15  then the father and mother of the young woman shall take and bring out the proof of the girl’s maidenhood to the elders of the city at the gate.
Deu 22:16  “And the girl’s father shall say to the elders, ‘I gave my daughter to this man as wife, and he hates her.
Deu 22:17  And see, he has made abusive charges against her, saying, “I did not find your daughter a maiden,” and yet these are the proofs of my daughter’s maidenhood.’ And they shall spread the garment before the elders of the city.
Deu 22:18  “And the elders of that city shall take that man and punish him,
Deu 22:19  and fine him one hundred pieces of silver and give them to the father of the young woman, because he has brought an evil name on a maiden of Yisra’ěl. And she is to be his wife, he is not allowed to put her away all his days.
Deu 22:20  “But if the matter is true, that the girl was not found a maiden,
Deu 22:21  then they shall bring out the girl to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death with stones, because she has done wickedness in Yisra’ěl, to whore in her father’s house. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst.
Deu 22:22  “When a man is found lying with a woman married to a husband, then both of them shall die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman. Thus you shall purge the evil from Yisra’ěl.
Deu 22:23  “When a girl who is a maiden is engaged to a husband, and a man finds her in the city and lies with her,
Deu 22:24  then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and shall stone them to death with stones, the girl because she did not cry out in the city, and the man because he has humbled his neighbour’s wife. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst.
Deu 22:25  “But if a man finds the girl who is engaged in the field, and the man takes hold of her and lies with her, then only the man who lay with her shall die.
Deu 22:26  “But you shall do no matter to the girl. The girl has no sin worthy of death – for the matter is like a man who rises against his neighbour and murders him – a being –
Deu 22:27  for he found her in the field, and she cried out, the engaged girl, but without anyone to save her.
Deu 22:28  “When a man finds a girl who is a maiden, who is not engaged, and he seizes her and lies with her, and they are found out,
Deu 22:29  then the man who lay with her shall give to the girl’s father fifty pieces of silver, and she is to be his wife because he has humbled her. He is not allowed to put her away all his days.
Deu 22:30  “A man does not take his father’s wife, nor uncover his father’s skirt.a Footnote: aHebrew - kanaph: wing, extremity, border or robe.
Deu 23:1  “He who is wounded by crushing of testicles or whose penis is cut off, shall not enter into the community of יהוה
Deu 23:2  “A mamzera shall not enter the community of יהוה, even a tenth generation of his shall not enter the community of יהוה. Footnote: aMamzer (Hebrew) - Born from prohibited union - See Explanatory Notes - Mamzer.
Deu 23:3  “An Ammonite or Mo’aḇite shall not enter the assembly of יהוה, even a tenth generation of them shall not ever enter the assembly of יהוה
Deu 23:4  because they did not meet you with bread and water on the way when you came out of Mitsrayim, and because they hired against you Bil‛am son of Be‛or from Pethor of Aram Naharayim, to curse you.
Deu 23:5  “But יהוה your Elohim refused to listen to Bil‛am, and יהוה your Elohim turned the curse into a blessing for you, because יהוה your Elohim loves you.
Deu 23:6  “Do not seek their peace nor their good, all your days, forever.
Deu 23:7  “Do not loathe an Eḏomite, for he is your brother. Do not loathe a Mitsrian, because you were a stranger in his land.
Deu 23:8  “The children of the third generation born to them do enter the assembly of יהוה
Uncleanness in the Camp
Deu 23:9  “When the camp goes out against your enemies, then you shall guard yourself from every evil matter.

Baruch atah YHVH, Eloheynu, Melech ha-‘Olam, asher natan lanu Toraht-emet, v’chay-yeh o’lam nata-b’tochenu. Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn ha-Torah. Ameyn.”

Rom 12:2  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you prove what is that good and well-pleasing and perfect desire of Elohim.
The instructions of the Torah have become strange and, in some cases, completely unacceptable to our western civilization, including all the word religions. Because of this YHVH will destroy every creed culture and religion that exults itself above His Torah -see Haftarah.

Isa 34:1  Come near, you nations, to hear. And listen, you people! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it, the world and all its offspring.
Isa 34:2  For the displeasure of יהוה is against all the nations, a and His wrath against all their divisions. He shall put them under the ban, He shall give them over to the slaughter, Footnote: aSee footnote Jer_30:11
Jer 30:11  For I am with you,’ declares יהוה, ‘to save you. Though I make a complete end of all nations a where I have scattered you, yet I do not make a complete end of you. But I shall reprove you in judgment, and by no means leave you unpunished.’ Footnote: aSee Jer_46:28, Isa_34:2, Isa_45:17, Dan_2:44, Amo_9:8, Hag_2:22
After the end time destruction YHVH will fill the earth with the knowledge of the fullness of His Esteem – Hab 2:14  for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the esteem of יהוה, as the waters cover the sea!a Footnote: a Isa_11:9

This Torah portion gives us valuable insight as to how life under Messiah will be.
Marrying Female Captives

Deu 21:10  “When you go out to fight against your enemies, and יהוה your Elohim shall give them into your hand, and you shall take them captive,
Deu 21:11  and shall see among the captives a woman fair of form, and shall delight in her and take her for your wife,
Deu 21:12  then you shall bring her home to your house, and she shall shave her head and trim her nails,
Deu 21:13  and put aside the mantle of her captivity, and shall dwell in your house, and mourn her father and her mother a month of days. And after that you shall go in to her and be her husband, and she shall be your wife.

This ‘’captive woman’’ reminds us of Messiah’s Gentile bride – Mat 25 – Parable 10 virgins.
Deu 21:14  “And it shall be, if you are not pleased with her, then you shall let her go at her desire, but you do not sell her at all for silver. Do not treat her harshly, since you have humbled her.
Inheritance Rights of the Firstborn
Deu 21:15  “When a man has two wives, one loved and the other unloved, and they have borne him children, both the loved and the unloved, and the first-born son is of her who is unloved,
Deu 21:16  then it shall be, on the day he makes his sons to inherit his possessions, he is not allowed to treat the son of the beloved wife as first-born in the face of the son of the unloved, who is truly the first-born.
Deu 21:17  “But he is to acknowledge the son of the unloved wife as the first-born by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the beginning of his strength – the right of the first-born is his.
A Rebellious Son
Deu 21:18  “When a man has a wayward and rebellious son who is not listening to the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and who, when they have disciplined him, does not listen to them,
Deu 21:19  then his father and his mother shall take hold of him and bring him out to the elders of his city, to the gate of his city,
Deu 21:20  and shall say to the elders of his city, ‘This son of ours is wayward and rebellious. He is not listening to our voice, he is a glutton and a drunkard.’
Deu 21:21  “Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst. And let all Yisra’ěl hear, and fear – Yesh 3:12
A Man Hanged on a Tree Is Cursed
Deu 21:22  “And when a man has committed a sin worthy of death, then he shall be put to death and you shall hang him on a tree.
Deu 21:23  “Let his body not remain overnight on the tree, for you shall certainly bury him the same day – for he who is hanged is accursed of Elohim – so that you do not defile the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you as an inheritance - Gal 3:13  Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Torah, having become a curse for us – for it has been written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs upon a tree.” – Deu_21:23. (We all deserve the death penalty for our rebellion and disobedience)
(Talmud, Sanhedrin 46b; Rashi) This is a degradation of the divine King in whose image man is created, and the Israelites are G‑d’s children. This is analogous to a case of two identical twin brothers. One became king, while the other was arrested for robbery and hanged. Whoever saw him would say, “The king is hanging!”
Various Laws
Deu 22:1  “When you see your brother’s ox or his sheep straying away, you shall not hide yourself from them. Return them to your brother without fail.
Deu 22:2  “And if your brother is not near you, or if you do not know him, then you shall bring it to your own house, and it shall be with you until your brother seeks it, then you shall return it to him.
Deu 22:3  “And so you do with his donkey, and so you do with his garment, and so you do with whatever your brother loses, which he has lost and you have found. You are not allowed to hide yourself.
Deu 22:4  “When you see your brother’s donkey or his ox fall down on the way, you shall not hide yourself from them. Help him raise them without fail.
Deu 22:5  “A woman does not wear that which pertains to a man, nor does a man put on a woman’s garment, for whoever does this is an abomination to יהוה your Elohim.

The ‘’Perfect Storm’’ of a last days world war is brewing. Only His People established in His Torah will survive and triumph over these end time events.

Baruch atah YHVH, Eloheynu, Melech ha-‘Olam, asher natan lanu Toraht-emet, v’chay-yeh o’lam nata-b’tochenu. Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn ha-Torah. Ameyn.”

Parashat 48 Portion 162 Dev 20:10-21:14 Ps 126:1-128:6 Yesh 66:12-22 Mark 15:6-15

Bar’chu et YHVH ha-m’vorach, Baruch YHVH ha-m’vorach l’O’lam va-ed! Baruch ata YHVH Elohim melech ha-olam asher bachar banu m’kol ha-amim, v’na-tan lanu eht Torah-to. Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn ha-Torah. Ameyn.”

(Bless YHVH the blessed One; Blessed is YHVH, the blessed One for all eternity. Blessed are you, YHVH, our Elohim, King of the Universe, you have selected us from among all the peoples, and have given us Your Torah. Blessed are YHVH our Elohim – Giver of the Torah – Amein.’)

Before the ‘’remnant’’ can enter into the promised land, great battles, both physical and spiritual will first have to take place – Dev 21:10 – ‘’ci tetze lamilchamah’’

Deu 20:10  “When you draw near to a city to fight against it, then you shall make a call for peace to it.
Deu 20:11  “And it shall be that if it accepts your call for peace, and shall open to you, then all the people found in it are to be your compulsory labour, and serve you.
Deu 20:12  “But if it does not make peace with you, and shall fight against you, then you shall besiege it,
Deu 20:13  and יהוה your Elohim shall give it into your hands, and you shall strike every male in it with the edge of the sword.
Deu 20:14  “Only the women, and the little ones, and the livestock, and all that is in the city, all its spoil, you take as plunder for yourself. And you shall eat the enemies’ plunder which יהוה your Elohim gives you.
Deu 20:15  “Do so to all the cities which are very far from you, which are not of the cities of these nations.
Deu 20:16  “Only, of the cities of these peoples which יהוה your Elohim gives you as an inheritance, you do not keep alive any that breathe,
Deu 20:17  but you shall certainly put them under the ban: the Ḥittite and the Amorite and the Kena‛anite and the Perizzite and the Ḥiwwite and the Yeḇusite, as יהוה your Elohim has commanded you,
Deu 20:18  lest they teach you to do according to all their abominations which they have done for their mighty ones, and you sin against יהוה your Elohim.

These are principles of Messianic evangelism. All those who reject YHVH’s Torah and His people will be enslaved or put to death.

Deu 20:19  “When you besiege a city for a long time by fighting against it to take it, you do not destroy its trees by wielding an axe against them. If you do eat of them, do not cut them down. For is the tree of the field a man to be besieged by you?
Deu 20:20  “Only the trees which you know are not trees for food you do destroy and cut down, to build siege-works against the city that is fighting against you, until it falls.

This instruction assures that only righteous conquest is allowed by YHVH. YHVH wants to give our enemies the best possible opportunities to repent and change their hearts before they are destroyed.

Deu 21:1  “When anyone is found slain, lying in the field in the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you to possess, and it is not known who struck him,
Deu 21:2  then your elders and your judges shall go out, and they shall measure the distance from the slain man to the cities round about.
Deu 21:3  “And it shall be that the elders of the city nearest to the slain man shall take a heifer which has not been worked and which has not pulled with a yoke,
Deu 21:4  and the elders of that city shall bring the heifer down to a wadi with flowing water, which is neither ploughed nor sown, and they shall break the heifer’s neck there in the wadi.
Deu 21:5  “And the priests, the sons of Lěwi, shall come near, for יהוה your Elohim has chosen them to serve Him and to bless in the Name of יהוה, and by their mouth every strife and every stroke is tried
Deu 21:6  “And let all the elders of that city nearest to the slain man wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the wadi.
Deu 21:7  “And they shall answer and say, ‘Our hands have not shed this blood, nor have our eyes seen it.
Deu 21:8  O יהוה, forgive Your people Yisra’ěl, whom You have ransomed, and do not allow innocent blood in the midst of Your people Yisra’ěl.’ And the blood-guilt shall be pardoned to them.
Deu 21:9  “Thus you purge the guilt of innocent blood from your midst when you do what is right in the eyes of יהוה

“The conception here is clearly one of corporate responsibility. Every community is responsible for crimes committed within its boundaries, and any unpunished crime must inevitably leave traces of contamination upon the whole body of the people. "When the evil has been dealt with, usually when the crime has been punished, the contamination is removed."[5] The situation here, however, is one in which it was impossible to mete out the proper punishment for the murderer, since he was unknown.’’

Marrying Female Captives – the parable of the Jewish Messiah and a gentile bride.
Deu 21:14  “And it shall be, if you are not pleased with her, then you shall let her go at her desire, but you do not sell her at all for silver. Do not treat her harshly, since you have humbled her.

The New Covenant – Yer 31:31-34 was not made with gentiles. Those gentiles who desire to be part of this New Covenant must first become members of His Household– Eph 2:17-22 & Rom 11:11-27

Isa 66:23  “And it shall be that from New moon to New moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath,b all flesh shall come to worship before Me,” declares יהוה. Footnote: b Possible meaning: Every week on the Sabbath
Isa 66:24  “And they shall go forth and look upon the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me.[c] For their worm shall not die, and their fire not be quenched. And they shall be repulsive to all flesh!” Footnote: cSee Isa_24:6, Isa_34:2-3, Psa_110:6, Jer_25:33.

There is an enlarged ‘’tav’’ in ‘’tamim” in Deu 18:13 ’Tamim tiyehe’’  “Be perfect before יהוה your Elohim, - what is complete or entirely in accord with truth and fact (neuter adjective/substantive)
We are ‘’becoming’’ the righteousness of YHVH through Yahshua - 2Co 5:21  For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of Elohim.
Like ‘’fortune tellers’’ the teachings and prophecies of many theologians and spiritual leaders have ‘’cast a spell’’ on believers, teaching them to ‘’spiritually project’’ themselves to a place of spiritual superiority and power. Many assume and claim spiritual wisdom and authority that if closely investigated proves to be a sham and a deception.

Deu 18:14  for these nations whom you are possessing do listen to those using magic and to diviners. But as for you, יהוה your Elohim has not appointed such for you.

Gal 3:1  O senseless Galatians! Who has put you under a spell, not to obey the truth…. 2Co 11:3  But I am afraid, lest, as the serpent deceived Ḥawwah by his trickery, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Messiah.
2Co 11:4  For, indeed, if he who is coming proclaims another יהושע,a whom we have not proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different Good News which you have not accepted, you put up with it well enough! Footnote: a Mat_24:5 and Mat_24:23-24, Joh_5:43
We have no excuse not to walk as our Master walked.
2Pe 1:3  as His Mighty-like power has given to us all we need for life and reverence, through the knowledge of Him who called us to esteem and uprightness.
2Pe 1:4  Through these there have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, so that through these you might be partakers of the Mighty-like nature, having escaped from the corruption in the world, caused by lust.

A New Prophet like Moses –  Moshe knew that the coming Messiah would bring great blessing.

Deu 18:15  “יהוה your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet b like me from your midst, from your brothers. Listen to Him, Footnote: bSee footnote at Deu_18:18
Deu 18:16  according to all you asked of יהוה your Elohim in Ḥorěḇ in the day of the assembly, saying, ‘Let me not hear again the voice of יהוה my Elohim, nor let me see this great fire any more, lest I die.’
Deu 18:17  “And יהוה said to me, ‘What they have spoken is good.
Deu 18:18  I shall raise up for them a Prophetc like you out of the midst of their brothers. And I shall put My Words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. Footnote: cSee also Act_3:22-26, and Act_7:37
Deu 18:19  And it shall be, the man who does not listen to My Words which He speaks in My Name, I require it of him.
Deu 18:20  But the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My Name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other mighty ones, even that prophet shall die.’
Deu 18:21  “And when you say in your heart, ‘How do we know the word which יהוה has not spoken?’ –
Deu 18:22  when the prophet speaks in the Name of יהוה and the word is not, or comes not, that is the word which יהוה has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him.

Isa 29:10  For יהוה has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, the prophets. And He has covered your heads, the seers. (concealed or hidden the truth)

Laws Concerning Cities of Refuge – Messiah has become the city of refuge to all those who deserve death because of their disobedience to YHVH, but have been given a second chance.

Rom 3:23  for all have sinned and fall short of the esteem of Elohim,
Rom 3:24  being declared right, without paying, by His favour through the redemption which is in Messiah יהושע
Rom 3:25  whom Elohim set forth as an atonement, through belief in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His tolerance Elohim had passed over the sins that had taken place before,
Rom 3:26  to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He is righteous and declares righteous the one who has belief in יהושע

Rom 6:23  For the wages of sin is death,c but the favourable gift of Elohim is everlasting life in Messiah יהושע our Master.

Deu 19:1  “When יהוה your Elohim cuts off the nations whose land יהוה your Elohim is giving you, and you dispossess them and dwell in their cities and in their houses,
Deu 19:2  separate three cities for yourself in the midst of your land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you to possess.
Deu 19:3  “Prepare a way for yourself, and divide into three parts the border of your land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you to inherit, that any man-slayer shall flee there.
Deu 19:4  “And this matter of the man-slayer who flees there and lives: he who strikes his neighbour unknowingly, not having hated him in time past,
Deu 19:5  even he who goes to the forest with his neighbour to cut timber, and his hand swings a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slips from the handle and strikes his neighbour so that he dies – let him flee to one of these cities and live,
Deu 19:6  lest the revenger of blood, while his displeasure is hot, pursue the man-slayer and overtake him, because the way is long, and shall strike his being, though he was not worthy of death, since he had not hated him before.
Deu 19:7  “Therefore I am commanding you, saying, ‘Separate three cities for yourself.’
Deu 19:8  “And if יהוה your Elohim enlarges your border, as He swore to your fathers, and has given you the land which He promised to give to your fathers –
Deu 19:9  when you guard all this command to do it, which I am commanding you today, to love יהוה your Elohim and to walk in His ways all the days – then you shall add three more cities for yourself besides these three,
Deu 19:10  so that innocent blood is not shed in the midst of your land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you as an inheritance, or blood-guilt shall be upon you.
Deu 19:11  “But when anyone hates his neighbour, and shall lie in wait for him and rise against him and strike his being so that he dies, then he shall flee to one of these cities,
Deu 19:12  and the elders of his city shall send and bring him from there, and give him into the hand of the revenger of blood, and he shall die.
Deu 19:13  “Your eye shall not pardon him, but you shall purge the blood of innocent blood from Yisra’ěl, so that it might be well with you.
Property Boundaries
Deu 19:14  “Do not remove your neighbour’s boundary, which those in the past have set, in your inheritance which you inherit in the land that יהוה your Elohim is giving you to possess.

Laws Concerning Witnesses

Deu 19:15  “One witness does not rise up against a man concerning any crookedness or any sin that he commits. At the mouth of two witnesses or at the mouth of three witnesses a matter is established.
Deu 19:16  “When a malicious witness rises up against any man to accuse him of turning aside,
Deu 19:17  then both men who have the dispute shall stand before יהוה, before the priests and the judges who serve in those days.
Deu 19:18  “And the judges shall diligently search and see if the witness is a false witness, who has falsely accused his brother,
Deu 19:19  then you shall do to him as he thought to have done to his brother. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst.
Deu 19:20  “And let the rest hear and fear, and never again do this evil matter in your midst.
Deu 19:21  “And let your eye not pardon, life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.
Laws Concerning Warfare
Deu 20:1  “When you go out to battle against your enemies, and shall see horses and chariots and people more numerous than you, do not be afraid of them, for יהוה your Elohim, who brought you up from the land of Mitsrayim, is with you.
Deu 20:2  “And it shall be, when you draw near to the battle, that the priest shall come and speak to the people,
Deu 20:3  and shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Yisra’ěl: You are drawing near today to battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not fear, or tremble, or be afraid before them,
Deu 20:4  for יהוה your Elohim is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’
Deu 20:5  “And the officers shall speak to the people, saying, ‘Who is the man who has built a new house and has not dedicated it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man dedicate it.
Deu 20:6  And who is the man who has planted a vineyard and has not begun to use it? Let him also go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man should begin to use it.
Deu 20:7  And who is the man who is engaged to a woman and has not taken her? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man take her.’
Deu 20:8  “And the officers shall speak further to the people, and say, ‘Who is the man who is afraid and tender of heart? Let him go and return to his house, lest the heart of his brothers faint like his heart.’
Deu 20:9  “And it shall be, when the officers have finished speaking to the people, that they shall appoint commanders of the divisions to lead the people.

The real battle is not against flesh and blood. but against the spiritual forces of darkness resisting the people of the Torah. Therefore, we must not be double minded but certain of victory and that YHVH Himself goes out before us to ensure our complete victory over the enemy.

Deu 17:14  “When you come to the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you, and shall possess it and shall dwell in it, and you shall say, ‘Let me set a sovereign over me like all the nations that are around me,’
Deu 17:15  you shall certainly set a sovereign over you whom יהוה your Elohim shall choose. Set a sovereign over you from among your brothers, you are not allowed to set a foreigner over you, who is not your brother.
Deu 17:16  “Only, he is not to increase horses for himself, nor cause the people to return to Mitsrayim to increase horses, for יהוה has said to you, ‘Do not return that way again.’
Deu 17:17  “And he is not to increase wives for himself, lest his heart turn away, nor is he to greatly increase silver and gold for himself.

1Sa 8:4  And all the elders of Yisra’ěl gathered together and came to Shemu’ěl at Ramah,
1Sa 8:5  and said to him, “Look, you are old, and your sons do not walk in your ways. Now appoint for us a sovereign to rule us like all the nations.”
1Sa 8:6  But the word was evil in the eyes of Shemu’ěl when they said, “Give us a sovereign to rule us.” So Shemu’ěl prayed to יהוה
1Sa 8:7  And יהוה said to Shemu’ěl, “Listen to the voice of the people in all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from reigning over them.
1Sa 8:8  “According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Mitsrayim, even to this day – forsaking Me and serving other mighty ones – so they are doing to you too.
1Sa 8:9  “And now, listen to their voice, but you shall certainly warn them, and shall make known to them the ruling of the sovereign who does reign over them.”

1Sa 12:17  “Is today not the wheat harvest? Let me call to יהוה, so that He sends thunder and rain – know then and see that your evil is great, which you have done in the eyes of יהוה, in asking for yourselves a sovereign.”

Deu 17:18  “And it shall be, when he sits on the throne of his reign, that he shall write for himself a copy of this Torah in a book, from the one before the priests, the Lěwites.
Deu 17:19  “And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, so that he learns to fear יהוה his Elohim and guard all the Words of this Torah and these laws, to do them,
Deu 17:20  so that his heart is not lifted up above his brothers, and so as not to turn aside from the command, right or left, so that he prolongs his days in his reign, he and his children, in the midst of Yisra’ěl.

Israel has a very sad history when it comes to her kings. Read the book of kings!

Heb 7:17  for He does witness, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Malkitseḏeq.” Psa_110:4Yahshua will be a king (melech) and righteous high priest (tsedek)

Deu 18:1  “The priests, the Lěwites, all the tribe of Lěwi, have no part nor inheritance with Yisra’ěl. They are to eat the offerings of יהוה made by fire, and His inheritance.
Deu 18:2  “But among his brothers Lěwi has no inheritance. יהוה is his inheritance, as He has spoken to him.
Deu 18:3  “And this is the priest’s right from the people, from those who slaughter a slaughtering, whether it is bull or sheep: they shall give to the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the stomach;
Deu 18:4  the first-fruits of your grain and your new wine and your oil, and the first of the fleece of your sheep, you give to him.
