Parashat 24 Portion 75 Vayikra/Lev 1:1-2:16 Yesh 48:12 – 49:3 Eph 5:1-10

Bar’chu et YHVH ha-m’vorach, Baruch YHVH ha-m’vorach l’O’lam va-ed! Baruch ata YHVH Eloheinu melech ha-olam asher bachar banu m’kol ha-amim, v’na-tan lanu eht Torah-to. Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn ha-Torah. Ameyn.”

 (Bless YHVH the blessed One; Blessed is YHVH, the blessed One for all eternity. Blessed are you, YHVH, our Elohim, King of the Universe, you have selected us from among all the peoples, and have given us your Torah.)

1. A lamb is brought in for slaughtering in the Outer court.
2.  Brazen altar-Slaughtering place. (Shemot/Ex 27:2-8)
3. Laver (where the hands and feet of the priests were washed.
4.  The  golden Lamp stand (Menorah) towards the South. (Shemot/Ex 25:31-40)
5. The Set-apart Place.
6. The Altar of incense in front of the veil between the Set-apart Place and the Most set-apart Place. (Ex 30:1-6)
7.  Table of showbread towards the North. (Shemot/Ex 25: 23-30)
8. The Ark of the Covenant. (Shemot/Ex 25:10-22)
9. 9. The Most set-apart Place.

Now we come to the very heart of the Torah – ‘’Vayikra’’ and He called. Calling us where? To Himself!

Yahshua said -  Mat 22:14  “For many are called, but few are chosen.” (or few choose)

When Yakov is busy dying he calls (Vayikra) his twelve sons to inform them what will ‘’call’’ (yikra) them in the last days.
