Blessing for the Torah:

Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn ha-Torah. Ameyn.”
(Bless YHVH the blessed One; Blessed is YHVH, the
blessed One for all eternity.
Blessed are you, YHVH, our Elohim, King of the
Universe,
you have selected us from among all the peoples and
have given us your Torah.)
Deu 29:29 “The secret matters
belong to יהוה our Elohim,
but what is revealed belongs to us and to our children forever, to do all the
Words of this Torah.
1Ti 3:16 And, beyond all
question, the secret of reverence is great – who was revealed in the flesh,
declared right in Spirit, was seen by messengers, was proclaimed among nations,
was believed on in the world, was taken up in esteem.
It
is my understanding that ONLY when we begin to study and teach the Torah as
Messiah and His talmadim (disciples) did will we begin to understand and walk
in the mysteries and counsel of YHVH.
Our Torah portion for this week.
Num 34:1 And יהוה spoke to
Mosheh, saying,
Num 34:2 “Command
the children of Yisra’ĕl, and say to them, ‘When you come into the land of Kenaʽan,
this is the land which falls to you as an inheritance, the land of Kenaʽan to
its boundaries:
In the last days we will once again return to the land
formerly known as Canaan and the boundaries this time will fall for us in
pleasant places.
Psa 16:5 יהוה is the portion
of my inheritance and my cup; You uphold my lot.
Psa 16:6 Boundary
lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Indeed, a good inheritance is mine.
Num 34:3 ‘Then
your southern border shall be from the Wilderness of Tsin along the border of
Eḏom,
and your southern border shall be eastward from the end of the Salt Sea.
Num 34:4 ‘Then
your border shall turn from the southern side of the Ascent of Aqrabbim,
continue to Tsin, and be on the south of Qaḏĕsh
Barnĕa, and it shall go on to Ḥatsar Addar, and continue to Atsmon.
Num 34:5 ‘And the
border shall turn from Atsmon to the wadi of Mitsrayim, and it shall end at the
Sea.
Num 34:6 ‘As for
the western border, you shall have the Great Sea for a border, this is your
western border.
Num 34:7 ‘And this
is your northern border: From the Great Sea you mark out your borderline to
Mount Hor,
Num 34:8 from
Mount Hor you mark out your border to the entrance of Ḥamath,
and the edge of the border shall be toward Tseḏaḏ,
Num 34:9 and the
border shall proceed to Ziphron, and it shall end at Ḥatsar
Ěnan. This is your northern border.
Num 34:10 ‘And you
shall mark out your eastern border from Ḥatsar
Ěnan to Shepham,
Num 34:11 and the
border shall go down from Shepham to Riḇlah on
the east side of Ayin, and the border shall go down and reach to the eastern
side of the Sea of Kinnereth.
Num 34:12 ‘And the
border shall go down along the Yardĕn, and it shall end at the Salt Sea. This
is your land with its surrounding boundaries.’ ”
Unfortunately, scholars are not
certain where some of these places are. There is a general consensus however
that the borders described here in Numbers 34 and Ezekiel 47 define different
but similar borders which include the whole of contemporary Lebanon, both the
West Bank and the Gaza Strip and Israel, except for the South Negev and Eilat.
Small parts of Syria are also included.

the scriptures where YHVH promises to give the land of Israel as an inheritance

Num 32:2 So the children of Gaḏ and the children of

Num 32:3
“Ataroth, and Diḇon, and Yaʽzĕr, and Nimrah, and Ḥeshbon, and Elʽalĕh, and Seḇam, and Neḇo, and Beʽon,
Num 32:4 the
land which יהוה had smitten before the congregation of
Yisra’ĕl, is a land for livestock, and your servants have livestock.”
Num 32:5 And they
said, “If we have found favour in your eyes, let this land be given to your
servants as a possession, and do not let us pass over the Yardĕn.”
