Col 3:1 If, then, you were raised (spiritually made
alive with the real Yahshua )with Messiah, seek the matters which are
above, where Messiah is, seated at the right hand of Elohim.
Col 3:2 Mind the matters above, not those on
the earth.
T here is a pattern in
heaven that needs to be reproduced on earth – Mat 6:10 - let Your reign come, let Your desire be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Col 3:3 For you have died, and your life has been
hidden(Gk – krupto – English – cryptic) with Messiah in Elohim.
Hidden –Cryptic - deliberately
mysterious and seeming to have a hidden meaning – Encarta dictionary. This
aptly describes those who have chosen to walk in the footsteps of Messiah.
Col 3:4 When(conjunction – whenever) the Messiah, who
is our life, is manifested,(aorist passive 3person singular verb) then you also
shall be manifested(future passive verb) with Him in esteem.
Col 3:5 Therefore put to death(aorist active verb)
your members which are on the earth: whoring, uncleanness, passion,(inordinate
affection) evil desire and greed of gain, which is idolatry.
In the grammar of Ancient
Greek, including Koine, the aorist is a class of verb forms that
generally portray a situation as simple or undefined, that is, as having
perfective aspect.
If anyone claims to have the life of Yahshua, they
will eventually love and obey the Torah.
Joh 14:15 “If you love Me, you shall guard My commands.1
Footnote: 1See Ex. 20:6, vv. 21&23, 1 John 5:2-3, 2 John v. 6.
1Jn 5:3 For this is the love for Elohim, that we
guard His commands,1 and His commands are not heavy, Footnote: 1See
5:2, 2 John v. 6, John 14:15.
1Jn 2:4 The one who says, “I know Him,” and does not
guard His commands, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
Conclusion: If you have truly been raised with Yahshua you will guard
the Torah.
Exo 31:1 And יהוה spoke to
Mosheh, saying,
Exo 31:2 “See, I
have called by name Betsal’ĕl(in the shadow of El) son of Uri, son of Ḥur, of
the tribe of Yehuḏah,
Exo 31:3 and I
have filled him with the Spirit of Elohim in wisdom, and in understanding, and
in knowledge, and in all work,
Exo 31:4 to make
designs for work in gold, and in silver, and in bronze,
Exo 31:5 and in
cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, and to work in all work.
Exo 31:6 “And I,
look I have appointed with him Oholiaḇ(Fathers tent) son of Aḥisamaḵ, of the tribe of Dan. And I have put wisdom in the
hearts of everyone who is wise-hearted, and they shall make all that I have
commanded you:
Exo 31:7 the Tent
of Meeting, and the ark of the Witness and the lid of atonement that is on it,
and all the utensils of the Tent,
Exo 31:8 and the
table and its utensils, and the clean gold lampstand with all its utensils, and
the altar of incense,
Exo 31:9 and the
altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin and its stand,
Exo 31:10 and the
woven garments, and the set-apart garments for Aharon the priest and the
garments of his sons, for serving as priests,
Exo 31:11 and the
anointing oil and sweet incense for the Set-apart Place. According to all that
I have commanded you, they are to do.”
Today the Ruach Ha Kodesh has once again empowered a
people to build a set apart place for the bnei Yisrael – the kehelah – the
assembly – the ekklessia.
1Pe 2:4 Drawing near to Him, a living Stone –
rejected indeed by men, but chosen by Elohim and precious –
1Pe 2:5 you also, as living stones, are being built
up, a spiritual house, a set-apart priesthood, to offer up spiritual slaughter offerings
acceptable to Elohim through יהושע Messiah.
There can be no physical slaughterings (offerings) as
long as there is no temple. In the meantime we have been given instruction(in
the Apostolic scriptures) as to how we are to serve YHVH.
Eph 4:11 And He Himself gave some as emissaries, and
some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as shepherds and teachers
Eph 4:12 for the perfecting of the set-apart ones, to
the work of service to a building up of the body of the Messiah,
Eph 4:13 until we all come to the unity of the belief
and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a perfect man, to the measure of
the stature of the completeness of Messiah,
Eph 4:14 so that we should no longer be children,
tossed and borne about by every wind of teaching, by the trickery of men, in
cleverness, unto the craftiness of leading astray,1 Footnote: 15:6,
also 2 Cor. 10:5, 2 Cor. 11:3-14, Gal. 1:6-9, 2 Tim. 3:1-8, 2 Tim. 4:2-4, 2
Peter 2:2-22, Jud. vv. 10-19.
Eph 4:15 but, maintaining the truth in love, we grow
up in all respects into Him who is the head, Messiah,
Eph 4:16 from whom the entire body, joined and knit
together by what every joint supplies, according to the working by which each
part does its share, causes growth of the body for the building up of itself in
love.
Eph 4:17 So this I say, and witness in the Master, that
you should no longer walk as the gentiles walk,1 in the futility of
their mind, Footnote: 11 Cor. 12:2, and Jer. 10:2.
Eph 4:18 having been darkened in their understanding,
having been estranged from the life of Elohim, because of the ignorance that is
in them, because of the hardness of their heart,
Eph 4:19 who, having become callous, have given
themselves up to indecency, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
Eph 4:20 But you have not so learned Messiah,
Eph 4:21 if indeed you have heard Him and were taught
by Him, as truth is in יהושע:
Truly very, very, very few have been truly taught by YHVH
regarding the truth of Yashua.
Exo 31:12 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,
Exo 31:13 “And
you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard,
by all means, for it is a sign1 between Me and you throughout your
generations, to know that I, יהוה, am setting
you apart. Footnote: 1The only sign of יהוה setting us
apart, the only sign of the everlasting covenant, is His Sabbaths, one of them
being the seventh day Sabbath. This is repeated in Ezek. 20:12 & 20.
Exo 31:14 ‘And you
shall guard the Sabbath, for it is set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it
shall certainly be put to death, for anyone who does work(Heb – “malacha” or
occupation) on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people.
Exo 31:15 ‘Six
days work is done, and on the seventh is a Sabbath of rest, set-apart to יהוה. Everyone doing work on the Sabbath day
shall certainly be put to death.
Exo 31:16 ‘And the
children of Yisra’ĕl shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout
their generations as an everlasting covenant.
Exo 31:17 ‘Between
Me and the children of Yisra’ĕl it is a sign forever. For in six days יהוה made the heavens and the earth, and on the
seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”
Exo 31:18 And when
He had ended speaking with him on Mount Sinai, He gave Mosheh two tablets of
the Witness, tablets of stone, written with the finger of Elohim.
YHVH not only creates a set apart space for His people
but also set apart times for His people to come together.
Exo 32:1 And when the people saw that Mosheh was so
long in coming down from the mountain, the people gathered together to Aharon,
and said to him, “Arise, make us mighty ones who go before us. For this Mosheh,
the man who brought us up out of the land of Mitsrayim, we do not know what has
become of him.”
Exo 32:2 And Aharon said to them, “Take off – Heb
parak -(tear or break) the golden earrings which are in the ears of your wives,
your sons, and your daughters, and bring them to me.”
Exo 32:3 “And all the people took off(tear or break)
the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aharon. (why tear? Because they were so attached them)
Exo 32:4 And he took this from their hand, and
he formed it with an engraving tool, and made a moulded calf. And they said,
“This is your mighty one, O Yisra’ĕl, that brought you out of the land of
Mitsrayim!”
Exo 32:5 And Aharon saw and built an altar before it.
And Aharon called out and said, “Tomorrow is a festival to יהוה.”
Exo 32:6 And they
rose early on the next day, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace
offerings. And the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
Exo 32:7 And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Go, get down! For your
people whom you brought out of the land of Mitsrayim have corrupted themselves.
Exo 32:8 “They
have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them. They have made
themselves a moulded calf, and have bowed themselves to it and slaughtered to
it, and said, ‘This is your mighty one, O Yisra’ĕl, who brought you out of the
land of Mitsrayim!’ ”
Exo 32:9 And יהוה said to Mosheh, “I have seen this people,
and see, it is a stiff-necked people!
Exo 32:10 “And
now, let Me alone, that My wrath might burn against them and I consume them and
I make of you a great nation.”
Exo 32:11 But
Mosheh pleaded with יהוה his Elohim,
and said, “יהוה, why does Your
wrath burn against Your people whom You have brought out of the land of
Mitsrayim with great power and with a strong hand?
Exo 32:12 “Why
should the Mitsrites speak, and say, ‘For evil He brought them out to kill them
in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth’? Turn from
the heat of Your wrath, and relent from this evil to Your people.
Exo 32:13
“Remember Aḇraham, Yitsḥaq,
and Yisra’ĕl, Your servants, to whom You swore by Yourself, and said to them,
‘I increase your seed like the stars of the heavens. And all this land that I
have spoken of I give to your seed, and they shall inherit it forever.’ ”
Exo 32:14 And יהוה relented from the evil which He said He
would do to His people.
It is very clear from scripture that when Yahshua came,
he taught the Torah of Moshe to the people – Matt 5:17-19 – It is also clear
that these last two thousand years the teaching of Moshe that Yahshua taught
have been rejected again by both Jew and Christian.
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved ones, let not this one matter
be hidden from you: that with יהוה one day is as
a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
For two days without Moshe the people
have built a false religious system.
For two days without Moshe the people
took pagan rituals and symbols and christianized them.
For two days the people thought that
Moshe was dead.
For two days the people forgot the
commandments of YHVH.
At the end of two days Moshe returned
– see Mal 4 and Rev 11
At the end of two days a priesthood
(bride) was selected.
At the end of two days judgment came
to the people.
