This article can be read before you study this week's Torah portion below, as it is giving a perspective as seen from the Bridegroom and bride in connection with the Appointments of YHVH. (''The bride must make herself ready for her bridegroom" - Yeshua the Lamb of Elohim that came with a Pesach so that his Bride can submit herself to Him as her Master and will come back again for his Bride that has prepared herself for her Bridegroom.)
Gen 1:27 And Elohim created the man in His image, in
the image of Elohim He created him – male and female He created them.
Gen 1:28 And Elohim
blessed them, and Elohim said to them, “Bear fruit and increase, and fill the
earth and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of
the heavens, and over all creatures moving on the earth.”
The
very first commandment YHVH gave man was to “bear fruit and increase” This
clearly implies that men and women were created to engage in sexual intercourse
and many other creative activities to fill the world with other human beings in
all manner of YHVH honouring creative abundance.
It
is rather ironic that when man first sinned their first response was to cover
their genitals with fig leaves.
What
happened when man disobeyed YHVH? The evidence of the fragmentation in human
relationships and destruction of our planet remain the ongoing legacy of
humanity.
BUT
YHVH so loved the world that He gave His only brought forth Son – Yahshua Ha
Mashiach – to restore mankind- and we killed him.
BUT
He is coming back to bring perfection and redemption.
Today
we see in spite of all the so-called education and religious teaching and instruction
on human sexuality, there remains a profound ignorance and deep lack of
understanding and abuse on this issue?
Hos 4:6 “My
people have perished for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected
knowledge, I reject you from being priest for Me. Since you have forgotten the
Torah of your Elohim, I also forget your children.
Maybe it is time to look again at the very foundation of human
sexuality and what the Torah has to say on this issue:
Gen 2:18 And יהוה Elohim said, “It is not good for the man to
be alone, I am going to make a helper for him, as his counterpart.”
Gen 2:19 And from
the ground יהוה Elohim formed
every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens, and brought them to the
man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called each living
creature, that was its name.
Gen 2:20 So the
man gave names to all livestock, and to the birds of the heavens, and to every
beast of the field. But for the man there was not found a helper for him, as
his counterpart.
Gen 2:21 So יהוה Elohim caused
a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs,(angular
organ – “tsela”) and closed up the flesh in its place.
Gen 2:22 And the
rib(tsela) which יהוה Elohim had taken from the man He made into a woman, and He
brought her to the man.
Gen 2:23 And the
man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is
called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out of man.”
Gen 2:24 For this
cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and they
shall become one flesh.
Gen 2:25 And they were both naked,
the man and his wife, yet they were not ashamed.

I want to draw your attention to two
interesting Hebrew words – Strongs 6763 – “tselah” meaning “rib”, and Strongs
6106 “etsem” meaning “bones, substance or essence.”
“According to the
Scriptures’ creation account, after making the heavens and the earth, YHVH
created humankind. The story of Adam and Eve in Genesis 2 states that YHVH
formed Adam out of the dust of the ground, and then Eve was created from one of
Adam’s ribs. But was it really his rib?
The Hebrew word that is traditionally translated as “rib” is tsela‘. Ziony Zevit, Distinguished Professor of Biblical Literature and Northwest Semitic Languages at American Jewish University in Bel-Air, California, believes that this translation is wrong, as do many scholars. It was first translated as “rib” in the Septuagint, a Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures from the mid-third century B.C.E. However, a more careful reading of the Hebrew word for “rib” in the Adam and Eve story suggests that Eve was created from another, very different, part of Adam’s anatomy—his os baculum (penis bone).
Zevit carefully examines the account of the creation of woman in the Bible in his article “Was Eve Made from Adam’s Rib—or His Baculum?”
Of the 40 appearances of tsela‘ in the Scripture the Adam and Eve story is the only place where it is translated as “rib.” Usually it means the side of something. Zevit explains the nuance of this word:
This Hebrew word occurs some 40 times in the Hebrew Scriptures, where it refers to the side of a building or of an altar or ark (Exodus 25:12; 26:20, 26; 1 Kings 6:34), a side-chamber (1 Kings 6:8; Ezekiel 41:6), or a branch of a mountain (2 Samuel 16:13). In each of these instances, it refers to something off-center, lateral to a main structure. The only place where tsela‘ might be construed as referring to a rib that branches off from the spinal cord is in Genesis 2:21–22.
According to Zevit, “rib” is the wrong translation for tsela‘ in the story of Adam and Eve in the Scripture. Zevit believes that tsela‘ should be translated as “a non-specific, general term,” such as one of Adam’s lateral limbs, in the Adam and Eve story. Thus, it refers to “limbs lateral to the vertical axis of an erect human body: hands, feet, or, in the case of males, the penis.”
Which of these lateral limbs lacks a bone? Human males do not have a penis bone, but many mammals do. Zevit concludes that in the story of Adam and Eve in the Bible, the woman was created from the man’s baculum to explain why this appendage does not have a bone.

Wikipedia – “The baculum
(also penis bone, penile bone or os penis) is a bone found in the penis of many placental mammals. It is absent in the human penis, but present in the penises of other primates, such as the gorilla and chimpanzee.[1] The bone is located above the male urethra,[2] and it aids sexual reproduction by maintaining sufficient stiffness during sexual penetration. The female equivalent is the baubellum or os clitoridis –clitoris ”
“In addition, Genesis 2:21
contains another etiological(study of causation) detail: “YHVH closed up the
flesh.” This detail would explain the peculiar visible sign on the penis and
scrotum of human males—the raphé . In the human penis and scrotum, the edges of
the urogenital folds come together over the urogenital sinus (urethral groove)
to form a seam, the raphé. The origin of this seam on the external genitalia
was “explained” by the story of the closing of Adam’s flesh. Again, the wound
associated with the generation of Eve is connected to Adam’s penis and not his
rib” – End quote.
Conclusion.
If this information is correct it explains the beauty and the mystery
of marriage. How the coming together of a man and a woman fills the deepest
physical and emotional need of humans and the yearning within the human heart
for intimacy. This deep and intimate connection between a man and a woman was
designed produces life and meaning to life. It is like the two were meant to be
together because they were created from one another. The scripture goes on to
clarify the order of this creation. When this order is violated alienation and
fragmentation occur, not only between men and women but also between man and
the world we live in.
1Co 11:8 For man is not from woman, but woman from
man.
1Co 11:9 For man also was not created for the woman,
but woman for the man.
1Co 11:10 Because of this the woman ought to have a
symbol of authority on her head, because of the messengers.
1Co 11:11 However, man is not independent of woman, nor
woman independent of man, in the Master.
1Co 11:12 For as the woman was from the man, even so
the man also is through the woman. But all are from Elohim.
I believe insight into this truth gives us a profound understanding as
to why the spirit of feminism and the spirit of religion have been such a
powerful force in the emasculation of men and why men have generally absconded
from their priestly role and responsibility and calling of being men. We see
this enforced by the church and society in the demonization of Scriptural
patriarchy.
YHVH refers to Himself as the Elohim of the Patriarchs – Avraham, Yitschak and Yakov – Exodus 3:6.
When Adam and Eve(Chavah) opened the door to “ha satan” in the garden
– the consequences were far greater than what we could ever have imagined. To
this day ha satan still tries to reverse and distort YHVH’s order and creation,
with great success.
We have been given a manual on human sexuality. Many of the ancient
and even modern sages considered this manual – “The Song of Songs” as the most
set apart book in all of YHVH’s Word. Yet it has been ignored and ridiculed by
many scholars over time. Why? People have been so conformed to the thinking of
the pattern of this world that it is unthinkable that such an erotic book with
all its hidden Hebrew imagery could possibly be YHVH’s plan and model for human
sexuality.
The highly esteemed
and conservative Christian commentator, Adam Clarke, wrote:
‘There
are many passages in it which should not be explained. ... the references being
too delicate; and Eastern phraseology on such subjects is too vivid.... Let any
sensible and pious medical man read over this book, and, if at all acquainted
with Asiatic phraseology, say whether it would be proper, even in medical
language, to explain all the descriptions and allusions in this poem.” – end
quote.

Bridegroom and bride/Marriage
and the Feasts.
It is clear from the Scriptures that YHVH created mankind to be in the
deepest possible relationship with them. YHVH’s intention became manifest when
He created Adam and Eve – the first husband and wife.
Isa 54:5 “For your Maker is your husband, יהוה of hosts is
His Name, and the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl is your Redeemer. He is called the
Elohim of all the earth.
Eph 5:30 Because we are members of His body, of His
flesh and of His bones.
Eph 5:31 “For this cause a man shall leave his father and
mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”
Eph 5:32 This secret is great, but I speak concerning
Messiah and the assembly.
Eph 5:33 However, you too, everyone, let each one love
his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she fears her husband.
The history of YHVH’s Bride is tragic. His Bride like Gomer the
unfaithful wife of Hoshea, keeps on running away from her Husband to embrace
her many lovers, her gods and her religion.
YHVH
chose the only way to redeem His wayward Bride, and that was to send His Kinsman
Redeemer – Yahshua – His only brought forth son.
And so
YHVH establishes a set of “dates” and calls them “His appointments” (that lays out so beautifully His salvation plan for man) so that He
and His Bride can ''meet and have fellowship'' and get to know and love one another
in the most intimate way imaginable.
Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And
he who hears, let him say, “Come!” And he who thirsts, come! And he who desires
it, take the water of life without paying!
We see
the first “date” or appointment in the form of the daily offerings or “tamid”
offerings.
Num 28:3 “And you
shall say to them, ‘This is the offering made by fire which you bring to יהוה: two male
lambs a year old, perfect ones, daily, a continual
burnt offering ( olah tamid).
The Torah does not state the exact time these offering
were made. The Mishnah and other sources indicate that one lamb was offered in
the morning around 9am and the other one around 3pm in the afternoon.
We see that these offerings were given at about the same
time that Yahshua was impaled and eventually died on the execution stake.
Mar 15:25 And it was the third hour,(around 9am) and
they impaled Him.
Mar 15:33
And when the sixth hour came, darkness came over all the land until the
ninth hour.
Mar 15:34
And at the ninth hour(around 3pm) יהושע cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Ěli,
Ěli, lamah sheḇaqtani?”1 which is translated, “My Ěl, My Ěl, why
have You forsaken Me?” Footnote: 1In Hebrew - “Eli, Eli lamah azabatani” - as per Ps. 22:1.
Yahshua takes on himself the penalty, the guilt and
faithlessness of YHVH’s Bride and so out of a deep sense of gratitude we remind
ourselves at least twice a day of this amazing miracle Yahshua did or us.
His bride was bought for a price – 1 Cor 6:20 – the precious blood of
Yahshua – 1 Pet 1:19.
Then we
have the weekly Sabbaths:
Num 28:9 ‘And on
the Sabbath day two lambs a year old, perfect ones, and two-tenths of an
ĕphah of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, with its drink
offering,
Num 28:10 the
burnt offering for every Sabbath, besides the continual burnt offering with its
drink offering.
Oh and by the way all of these appointments will again be restored
when the Temple is rebuilt by Yahshua,(Zech 6:12) accompanied by offerings of
animals along with flour, wine and oil. Does this offend you? If it does then
maybe you are not called to be part of the bride of Messiah.
Exo 31:14 ‘And you shall guard the Sabbath, for it is
set-apart to you. Everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death, for
anyone who does work on it, that being shall be cut off from among his people.
Exo 31:15 ‘Six days work is done, and on the seventh is
a Sabbath of rest, set-apart to יהוה. Everyone
doing work on the Sabbath day shall certainly be put to death.
Exo 31:16 ‘And the
children of Yisra’ĕl shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout
their generations as an everlasting covenant.
Exo 31:17 ‘Between
Me and the children of Yisra’ĕl it is a sign forever. For in six days יהוה made the
heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’ ”
When there is a deep desire in our hearts to keep this Appointment,
this becomes a “sign” of our desire to be once again united with our Creator: Exo 31:13 “And you, speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying, ‘My Sabbaths you are to guard, by all means, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, to know that I, יהוה, am setting you apart.
Then we
have Rosh “Chodesh”
When the first sliver of the new moon was sighted in Yerushalayim it
was the beginning of a new Hebrew month.
The bride of Messiah count the days and months of the gift of life
given to them by YHVH’s calendar not according to the calendar of the Roman
Catholic Pope Gregory.
Then we
have Passover or “Pesach.” Unleavened Bread, The Counting of the Omer and
Shavuot (Pentecost)
Lev 23:5 ‘In the
first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, is the
Passover to יהוה.
Lev 23:6 ‘And on
the fifteenth day of this month is the Festival of Unleavened Bread to יהוה – seven days
you eat unleavened bread.
Lev 23:7 ‘On the
first day you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.
Lev 23:8 ‘And you
shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה for seven
days. On the seventh day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.’ ”
Lev 23:9 And יהוה spoke to
Mosheh, saying,
Lev 23:10 “Speak to
the children of Yisra’ĕl, and you shall say to them, ‘When you come into the
land which I give you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf
of the first-fruits of your harvest to the priest.
Lev 23:11 ‘And he
shall wave the sheaf before יהוה, for your acceptance. On the morrow after the Sabbath the
priest waves it.
Lev 23:12 ‘And on
that day when you wave the sheaf, you shall prepare a male lamb a year old, a
perfect one, as a burnt offering to יהוה,
Lev 23:13 and its
grain offering: two-tenths of an ĕphah of fine flour mixed with oil, an
offering made by fire to יהוה, a sweet fragrance, and its drink offering: one-fourth of a hin
of wine.
Lev 23:14 ‘And you
do not eat bread or roasted grain or fresh grain until the same day that you
have brought an offering to your Elohim – a law forever throughout your
generations in all your dwellings.
Lev 23:15 ‘And
from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of
the wave offering, you shall count for yourselves: seven completed Sabbaths.
Lev 23:16 ‘Until
the morrow after the seventh Sabbath you count fifty days, then you shall bring
a new grain offering to יהוה.
Lev 23:17 ‘Bring
from your dwellings for a wave offering two loaves of bread, of
two-tenths of an ĕphah of fine flour they are, baked with leaven, first-fruits
to יהוה.
Lev 23:18 ‘And
besides the bread, you shall bring seven lambs a year old, perfect ones, and
one young bull and two rams. They are a burnt offering to יהוה, with their
grain offering and their drink offerings, an offering made by fire for a sweet
fragrance to יהוה.
Lev 23:19 ‘And you
shall offer one male goat as a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old, as
a peace offering.
Lev 23:20 ‘And the
priest shall wave them, besides the bread of the first-fruits, as a wave
offering before יהוה, besides the two lambs. They are set-apart to יהוה for the
priest.
Lev 23:21 ‘And on
this same day you shall proclaim a set-apart gathering for yourselves, you do
no servile work on it – a law forever in all your dwellings throughout your
generations.
Without
the Passover and its accompanying festive meal we have no part in Messiah. It
was at the Passover that a way was made possible for the Bride to come out of
bondage and be enabled to follow her Bridegroom Messiah. We follow Messiah into
the wilderness of this world, first through “mikveh” baptism and then on to
mount Sinai to receive the Word the Torah of YHVH and the infilling of the
“Ruach Ha Kodesh” the Set Apart Spirit(Shavuot or Pentecost) at Mountt Tzion. We
need this infilling to be enabled to understand His Word and follow Him back to
our land – Yisrael - and to receive our inheritance – The Kingdom of YHVH – Rom
14:17
We
count the “Omer” because when the fullness of the gentiles has come in, the
Messiah will return – Rom 11:25.
Then we
have ‘Yom Teruah” (The Day of the great awakening blast"/''The day of Trumpets'' –
Lev 23:23 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,
Lev 23:24 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl,
saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you have a rest,
a remembrance of blowing of trumpets, a set-apart gathering.
Lev
23:25 ‘You do no servile work, and you
shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה.’ ”
Lev 23:23 And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying,
Lev 23:24 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl,
saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you have a rest,
a remembrance of blowing of trumpets, a set-apart gathering.
Lev
23:25 ‘You do no servile work, and you
shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה.’ ”
On a future Yom Teruah the The ''Day of the great awakening blasts''/“day of
trumpets”we believe, is when Yahshua returns to meet His Bride in the air (not to take her
into heaven to stay there for 7 years but to return to Yerushalayim for the Thousand
Year reign). Some believe this will be just before the end of the great
tribulation, when the wrath of YHVH
is poured out on an unbelieving unrepentant humanity. There will be a complete
destruction of all and anything that will hinder the relationship between Bride and Groom – Heb 12:25-29.
1Th 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the
Master, that we, the living who are left over at the coming of the Master shall
in no way go before those who are asleep.
1Th 4:16 Because the Master Himself shall come down
from heaven with a shout, with the voice of a chief messenger, and with the
trumpet of Elohim, and the dead in Messiah shall rise first.
1Th 4:17 Then we, the living who are left over, shall
be caught away together with them in the clouds to meet the Master in the air –
and so we shall always be with the Master.
1Th 4:18 So, then, encourage one another with these
words.
After 10 days we have Yom Ha Kippurim.
Lev 23:27 “On the tenth day of this seventh month is
the Day of Atonement. It shall be a set-apart gathering for you. And you shall
afflict your beings, and shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה.
Lev 23:28 “And you
do no work on that same day, for it is the Day of Atonement, to make atonement
for you before יהוה your Elohim.
Lev 23:29 “For any
being who is not afflicted on that same day, he shall be cut off from his
people.
Lev 23:30 “And any
being who does any work on that same day, that being I shall destroy from the
midst of his people.
Lev 23:31 “You do
no work – a law forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
Lev 23:32 ‘It is a
Sabbath of rest to you, and you shall afflict your beings. On the ninth day of
the month at evening, from evening to evening, you observe your Sabbath.”
On this day the High Priest would go into the most set
apart place to make atonement for the people.
Some believe that perhaps on this day Yahshua will ''consummate'' His marriage with His Bride before YHVH in the most set apart
tabernacle which is in the heavens before Yahshua returns with the set apart ones to put his feet on the mount of Olives and then to rule and reign for a Thousand
years from Yerushalayim.
Then we have the feast 7 day Feast of Sukkot (Feast of booths
or tabernacles):
Perhaps during the four days between Yom ha Kippurim and
Sukkot the bride receives the perfect seed of Messiah should the ''consumation''
take place at this time rather on Yom Ha Kippurim. Now the sins of the bride
are not only atoned for but are completely removed – hence the name Yom ha
Kippurim – a day of coverings.
The feast of Tabernacles is a seven day “marriage” feast and
the Millennium (the seventh thousandth year since creation) is symbolic of this.
Lev 23:34 “Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying,
‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the Festival of Booths for seven
days to יהוה.
Lev 23:35 ‘On the
first day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.
Lev 23:36 ‘For
seven days you bring an offering made by fire to יהוה. On the eighth
day there shall be a set-apart gathering for you, and you shall bring an
offering made by fire to יהוה. It is a closing festival, you do no servile work.
Then finally we have the eighth day assembly or “Shemini Atzeret”:
Num 29:35 ‘On the eighth day you have an assembly, you
do no servile work,
Num 29:36 and you shall bring near a burnt offering, an
offering made by fire, a sweet fragrance to יהוה: one bull, one ram, seven lambs a year
old, perfect ones,
Num 29:37 their
grain offering and their drink offerings for the bull, for the ram, and for the
lambs, by their number, according to the right-ruling,
Num 29:38 and one
goat as a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, its grain
offering, and its drink offering.
Num 29:39 ‘These
you prepare to יהוה at your
appointed times, besides your vowed offerings and your voluntary offerings, as
your burnt offerings and your grain offerings, as your drink offerings and your
peace offerings.’
This refers to the period of time after the 1000 years (Millennium
reign) of Yahshua’s reign on earth and after the great white throne of
judgment. Satan will be released and cast into the eternal lake of fire with
all those who wanted to defile and destroy YHVH’s Bride.
Rev 20:1 And I saw a messenger coming down from the
heaven, having the key to the pit of the deep and a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 And he seized the dragon, the serpent of old,
who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,
Rev
20:3 and he threw him into the pit of
the deep, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should lead the
nations no more astray until the thousand years were ended. And after that he
has to be released for a little while.
Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years have ended, Satan shall be released from his prison,
Rev 20:8 and he shall go out to lead the nations astray which are in the four corners of the earth, Goḡ and Maḡoḡ, to gather them together for battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.
Rev 20:9 And they came up over the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the set-apart ones and the beloved city. And fire came down from Elohim out of the heaven and consumed them.
Rev 20:10 And the devil, who led them astray, was thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur where the beast and the false prophet are. And they shall be tortured day and night forever and ever.
Paul speaks of the eighth day in the following way:
1Co 2:9 But as it has been written, “Eye has not
seen, and ear has not heard, nor have entered into the heart of man what Elohim
has prepared for those who love Him.”1 Footnote: 1Isa.
64:4.
And so Yochanan
describes the end of this age and the coming together of the Bride and Her
Creator.
Rev 21:1 And I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed
earth, for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea
is no more.
Rev 21:2 And I, Yoḥanan, saw the set-apart city, renewed
Yerushalayim, coming down out of the heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride
adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 And
I heard a loud voice from the heaven saying, “See, the Booth of Elohim is with
men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and Elohim
Himself shall be with them and be their Elohim.
Rev 21:4 “And Elohim
shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death,
nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters
have passed away.”
Rev 22:14 “Blessed
are those1 doing His commands,2 so that the authority
shall be theirs unto the tree of life, and to enter through the gates into the
city.
Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And
he who hears, let him say, “Come!” And he who thirsts, come! And he who desires
it, take the water of life without paying!
Sadly all have been “captured” by the spirit and
pattern of this world. It is only when by the power of His Ruach Ha Kodesh that
we are able to be set free from this pattern to begin to understand the good,
pleasing and perfect will of YHVH – Rom 12:1-3.
The Torah
teaches about human sexuality and marriage and YHVH’s appointments. Yet His
people have demonized and ignored His appointments, demonized polygyny and
Levirate marriages and Hebrew life in general. These have been replaced by the
Church’s ideas of how YHVH’s Bride should live and function. They have added
and taken away from YHVH’s Torah. What will be their end?
Deu 4:1 “And now, O Yisra’ĕl, listen to the laws and
the right-rulings which I am teaching you to do, so that you live, and shall go
in and possess the land which יהוה Elohim of your
fathers is giving you.
Deu 4:2 “Do not
add to the Word which I command you, and do not take away from it1,
so as to guard the commands of יהוה your Elohim
which I am commanding you. Footnote: 1See also 12:32, Prov. 30:6,
Rev. 22:18-19.
Deu 4:3 “Your eyes
have seen what יהוה did at Baʽal Peʽor,
for יהוה your Elohim has destroyed from your midst
all the men who followed Baʽal Peʽor.
Deu 4:4 “But you who are clinging to יהוה your Elohim are alive today, every one of
you.
Deu 28:15 “And it shall be, if you do not obey the
voice of יהוה your Elohim,
to guard to do all His commands and His laws which I command you today, that
all these curses shall come upon you and overtake you:
Deu 28:61 also every sickness and every plague, which
is not written in the book of this Torah, יהוה does bring
upon you until you are destroyed.
Even
Yahshua confirms this warning:
Joh 3:36 “He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting
life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of
Elohim remains on him.” See also Mat 5:17-19.
So when
will we listen and obey?
Isa 6:11 Then I said, “יהוה, until when?”
And He answered, “Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, and
the houses are without a man, and the land is laid waste, a ruin,
Isa 6:12 and יהוה has removed men far away, and the forsaken
places be many in the midst of the land.
Isa 6:13 “But
still, there is a tenth part in it, and it shall again be for a burning, like a
terebinth tree and like an oak, whose stump remains when it is cut down. The
set-apart seed is its stump!”
May we be blessed and counted worthy to be part of the
set apart seed of YHVH
