מקץ- ‘’miketz’’ Strongs 7093 – ‘’at the end (of time)’’ In Hebrew
thinking it can also imply the end of or the beginning of something.

Perhaps this Torah
portion give us a hint – Remez – that we are the generation living “two
thousand years after Messiah’s first coming that will usher in his second
coming – “it came to be after the end of two years” This is also where this
Torah portion gets its name
The Torah has much to
say about the last days – any study of the last days excluding the Torah is
bound to be misleading.

an abomination.[a] Footnote:

What will
it take to provoke the Jewish people to jealousy?
Perhaps an
end time remnant from the house of Yosef walking in the blessing and protection
of YHVH’s Covenant blessing according to Torah.
Gen 41:1 And it
came to be, at the end of two years’ time, that Pharaoh had a dream, and saw
him standing by (על)the river, (Heb.
Standing over the river)
This is significant
because the ‘’water spirits’’ that came from The river gave enormous power to
the occultic powers that controlled Egypt. These occultic powers with their priesthood
were not able to interpret Pharaoh’s dream.
So too in the last
days, a remnant set apart priesthood of YHVH will be able to interpret and
understand the events of the last days.
Gen 41:2 and saw seven cows coming up out of the
river, fine looking and fat, and they fed amongst the reeds,
Gen 41:3 then saw seven other cows coming up after
them out of the river, ugly and lean of flesh, and stood by the other cows on
the bank of the river.
Gen 41:4 And the ugly and lean of flesh cows ate up
the seven fine looking and fat cows. Then Pharaoh awoke.
Gen 41:5 And he slept and dreamed a second time and
saw seven heads of grain coming up on one stalk, plump and good,
Gen 41:6 and saw seven lean heads, scorched by the
east wind, coming up after them.
Gen 41:7 And the seven lean heads swallowed the seven
plump and complete heads. Then Pharaoh awoke and saw it was a dream.
Gen 41:8 And it came to be in the morning that his
spirit was moved, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Mitsrayim and
all its wise men. And Pharaoh related to them his dreams, but there was no one
who could interpret them for Pharaoh.
Gen 41:9 Then the chief cupbearer spoke to Pharaoh,
saying, “I remember my crimes this day.
Gen 41:10 “When Pharaoh was wroth with his servants,
and put me in confinement in the house of the captain of the guard, both me and
the chief baker,
Gen 41:11 each one of us dreamed a dream in one night,
he and I. Each of us dreamed according to the interpretation of his own dream.
Gen 41:12 “And there was with us a Heḇrew youth, a
servant of the captain of the guard. And we related to him, and he interpreted
our dreams for us. To each man he interpreted according to his own dream.
Gen 41:13 “And it came to be, as he interpreted for us,
so it came to be. He restored me to my office, and he hanged him.”
Gen 41:14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Yosĕph, and they hurriedly brought him out of the dungeon. And he shaved and changed his garments and came to Pharaoh.
The Jewish Rabbis say that when Joseph shaved and changed his clothes, this is a Hebrew idiom that refers to Joseph hiding his true identity as a Hebrew, and as a son of Jacob. In this last half of Genesis 41:14, Joseph could no longer be recognized as the son of Jacob, but instead became “gentilizied”. He became an Egyptian. He forsook or at least hid his heritage. In 2,000 years of church history the Greek name “Jesus” was given to the real Messiah Yeshua. He was “shaved” and his clothes were changed to look like an Egyptian by the pagan influenced Christians who started severing the Herbew root of the Hebrew “Olive tree”.
Gen 41:15 And Pharaoh said to Yosĕph, “I have dreamed a
dream, and there is no one to interpret it. Now I myself have heard it said of
you that you understand a dream, to interpret it.”
Gen 41:16 And Yosĕph answered Pharaoh, saying, “It is
not in me, let Elohim answer Pharaoh with peace.”
Gen 41:17 And Pharaoh said to Yosĕph, “See, in my dream
I stood on the bank of the river
Gen 41:18 and saw seven cows coming up out of the
river, fine looking and fat, and they fed amongst the reeds,
Gen 41:19 then saw seven other cows coming up after
them, poor and very ugly and lean of flesh, such ugliness as I have never seen
in all the land of Mitsrayim.
Gen 41:20 “And the lean of flesh and ugly cows ate up
the first seven, the fat cows.
Gen 41:21 “Yet when they had eaten them up, no one
would have known that they had eaten them, for they were as ugly as at the
beginning. Then I awoke.
Gen 41:22 “Also, I looked in my dream and saw seven
heads coming up on one stalk, complete and good,
Gen 41:23 then saw seven heads, withered, lean,
scorched by the east wind, coming up after them.
Gen 41:24 “And the lean heads swallowed the seven good
heads. And I spoke to the magicians, but there was no one who could explain it
to me.”
Gen 41:25 And Yosĕph said to Pharaoh, “The dream of
Pharaoh is one. Elohim has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do:
Gen 41:26 “The seven good cows are seven years, and the
seven good heads are seven years – it is one dream.
Gen 41:27 “And the seven lean and ugly cows which came
up after them are seven years, and the seven empty heads scorched by the east
wind are seven years of scarcity of food.
Gen 41:28 “This is the word which I spoke to Pharaoh: Elohim
has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do.
Gen 41:29 “See, seven years of great plenty are coming
in all the land of Mitsrayim,
Gen 41:30 but after them seven years of scarcity of
food shall arise and all the plenty be forgotten in the land of Mitsrayim. And
the scarcity of food shall destroy the land,
Gen 41:31 and the plenty shall not be remembered in the
land, because of the scarcity of food following, for it is very severe.
Gen 41:32 “And the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice because the word is established by Elohim, and Elohim is hastening to do it.
The dream was
repeated twice because it had a then present as well as futuristic fulfilment.
Gen 41:33 “And now, let Pharaoh look for a discerning
and wise man, and set him over the land of Mitsrayim.
Gen 41:34 “Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint
overseers over the land, to take up one-fifth of the land of Mitsrayim in the
seven years of plenty.
Gen 41:35 “And let them gather all the food of those
good years that are coming, and store up grain under the hand of Pharaoh, and
let them keep food in the cities.
Gen 41:36 “And the food shall be for a store for the
land for the seven years of scarcity of food which shall be in the land of
Mitsrayim, and do not let the land be cut off by the scarcity of food.”
Gen 41:37 And the word was good in the eyes of Pharaoh and in the eyes of all his servants.
According to Yasher
48 Pharoah wanted a sign that Yosef was telling
the truth.
62 And the king
answered and said unto Joseph, Who sayeth and who knoweth that thy words are
correct? And he said unto the king, This shall be a sign for thee respecting
all my words, that they are true and that my advice is good for thee.
63 Behold thy wife
sitteth this day upon the stool of delivery, and she will bear thee a son and
thou wilt rejoice with him; when thy child shall have gone forth from his
mother's womb, thy first born son that has been born these two years back shall
die, and thou wilt be comforted in the child that will be born unto thee this
day.
64 And Joseph
finished speaking these words to the king, and he bowed down to the king and he
went out, and when Joseph had gone out from the king's presence, those signs
which Joseph had spoken unto the king came to pass on that day.
65 And the queen bare a son on that day and the king heard the glad tidings about his son, and he rejoiced, and when the reporter had gone forth from the king's presence, the king's servants found the first born son of the king fallen dead upon the ground.
Pharoah also gives
Yosef a gentile wife – Yahshua was also given a gentile wife –
Later on Pharoah changes Yosef’s name to - Zaphnath-paaneah; - an Egyptian word, of which the most accredited interpretations are "the Salvation of the World," (Furst, Jablonsky, Rosellini, and others); "the Rescuer of the World" (Gesenius); "the Prince of the Life of the World" (Brugsch); "the Food of Life," or "the Food of the Living"
Isa
29:11 And the entire vision is to you like the words of a book that is
sealed, which men give to one who knows books, saying, “Read this, please.” And
he said, “I am unable, for it is sealed.”
Will an end time
remnant of Yosefs descendants messianic believers – unseal the last day events
and bring a word of hope and restoration to the world?

3:7 For the Master יהוה
does no matter unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
Amo 8:11 “See, days are coming,”
declares the Master יהוה, “that I shall send a hunger in the land,
not a hunger for bread, nor a thirst for water, but for hearing the Words of יהוה.
Amo 8:12 “And they shall wander
from sea to sea, and from north to east – they shall diligently search, seeking
the Word of יהוה, but they shall not find it.[a] Footnote:

And it came to be in the last days Klaus Schwab from the World Econimic Forum had a dream for a New World Order.
Mankind has created an illusion – called
the new world order. YHVH has prepared a kingdom for His people which is not an
illusion.
“I think we have three major forces
coming together and convening to transform life on this planet in a way that
has never been done before. One of those is the technology revolution that
we're currently in. The second is the fact that we live on a heating planet,
and it's also one where if we continue to use the resources, it won't be able
to sustain life as we know it. And the third is the economic rebalancing that must
take place in this world,” - The New World Order.
This Torah portion reveals two equal
periods of seven years each. One of abundance and one of great famine. The end
book (miketz) of the scriptures – Revelation – teaches that there will also be
two periods of time of three and a half years each.
Is it possible that the New World order
will introduce the first three and a half years where a One - world government
will ‘’provide’’ for all of mankind’s needs?
In the second half there will be famine for
three and a half years - Rev 11:3 “And I shall give unto my two witnesses, and they shall
prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clad in sackcloth.” Rev
11:4 These are the two olive trees Eze_4:3 and the two
lampstands that are standing before the Elohim of the earth. Rev
11:5 And if anyone wishes to harm them, fire comes out from their mouth
and consumes their enemies. And if anyone wishes to harm them, he has to be
killed in that way. Rev 11:6 These possess authority to shut the
heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy. And they possess
authority over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all
plagues, as often as they wish.
During
this second and final 42 months of this present age YHVH will have led into the
wilderness of the nations- Ezek 20:35 -His Chosen Ones those having the testimony
of Yahshua and who guard YHVH’s commands.
Rev 12:13
And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he persecuted the
woman who gave birth to the male child. (Jewish nation – Salvation came
from them Jn 4:22)
Rev 12:14 And the woman was given
two wings of a great eagle, to fly into the wilderness to her place, where she
is nourished for a time and times and half a time, Dan_7:25, Dan_12:7
from the presence of the serpent.
Rev 12:15 And out of his mouth the
serpent spewed water like a river after the woman, to cause her to be swept
away by the river.
Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the
woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river which the
dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was
enraged with the woman, and he went to fight with the remnant of her seed,
those guarding the commands of Elohim and possessing the witness of יהושע Messiah.
There are some Torah teachers who
believe that in the last 10 days of this age the 7 bowls of wrath described in
Rev 16 will be poured out on the earth.
It is believed that just before these events on Yom Teuruah, Yahshua will come
and collect His Bride – 1 Thess 4:16-18.
Blessed are you YHVH,
our Elohim, King of the Universe, you have given us your Torah of truth, and
have planted everlasting life within our midst. Blessed are you, YHVH giver of
the Torah – Amein.
