Bar’chu et YHVH

melech ha-olam. Asher bachar banu m’kol ha-amim, v’na-tan lanu eht Torah-to.
Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn ha-Torah. Ameyn.”
(Bless YHVH the
blessed One; Blessed is YHVH, the blessed One for all eternity. Blessed are
you, YHVH, our Elohim, King of the Universe, you have selected us from among
all the peoples and have given us your Torah.)
Joh
5:30 I can do nothing of My own
self…..because I do not seek My own will, but the will of the Father who
has sent Me.
Joh 5:31 “If I bear witness of Myself, My witness is
not true.
Joh 5:32 “There is another who bears witness of Me,
and I know that the witness which He witnesses of Me is true.
Jer 32:21
‘And You have brought Your people Yisra’ĕl out of the land of Mitsrayim
with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, and with
great fearsome deeds.
Jer 32:22
‘And You gave them this land, of which You swore to their fathers to
give them, a land flowing with milk and honey.
Jer 32:23
‘And they came in and possessed it, but they did not obey Your voice nor
did they walk in Your Torah. They did not do all that You commanded them to do,
so You brought all this evil upon them. (See also context of Yer 29:11-14)
Title for
this Torah Portion – “Life doesn’t always work out the way you want it to”.
BUT YHVH will
always work out all matters so that they will work together for the good to
those who love YHVH and are called according to His purpose – Rom 8:28
Deu 3:23
“And I pleaded (Heb – ve et chanan) with יהוה at that time, saying,
Deu
3:24 ‘O Master יהוה, You have begun to show Your servant Your
greatness and Your strong hand, for who is a mighty one in the heavens or on
earth who does according to Your works and according to Your might?
Deu
3:25 ‘I pray, let me pass over and see
the good land beyond the Yardĕn, this good hill country, and Leḇanon.’
Deu
3:26 “But יהוה was enraged(Heb – “hitavar” – to pass over
and ignore) with me, for your sake, and would not listen to me, and יהוה said to me, ‘Enough of that! Speak no more
to Me about this matter.
Deu
3:27 ‘Go up to the top of Pisgah,(a
place of contemplation) and lift up your eyes westward, and northward,(Ps 75:6)
and southward, and eastward, and look with your eyes, for you do not pass over
this Yardĕn.
Deu
3:28 ‘But charge Yehoshua, and
strengthen him and make him brave, for he shall pass over before this people
and causes them to inherit the land which you see.’
Deu
3:29 “And we dwelt in the valley opposite
Bĕyth Peʽor.
Beth
Peor was a place connected to shame, humiliation, defeat and even death – see
Num 25:3 and 34:6.
“The occurrences of the
verb (pa'ar) indicate adjunction with strong passion or feeling,
usually not very positive (Job 16:10, Isaiah 5:14, Job 29:23), and describe the
wide opening of the mouth, hence perhaps alluding to other body cavities.” –
passionate about doing what was wrong - (Abarim-publication)
“hollow”
This of course can signify the hollow or womb of the female anatomy where life
is conceived and nurtured. Sadly the sexual aspect of human behaviour has
departed from the instruction of YHVH’s Word and the sad consequence of dysfunctional
offspring has been the result.
We must also
consider two other cavities on either side of our heads – called ears. These
too often have sadly not heard YHVH’s Torah and walked in its precepts.
So we see
that the phenomenon of “Baal Peor” – “husband of the gap” where the enemy
influences and controls the way we think, hear and conduct ourselves has had a
major contribution to man’s increasing descent into abject decadence.
How do
believers succumb to the spirit of Baal Peor today? They decide what is sexually
acceptable and not acceptable. They want to be in control over what constitutes
scriptural marriage and all relationships and ignore the instructions of the
Torah regarding this matter – see Leviticus 18.
The result
of this is that even believers are confused about what constitutes healthy
sexual relationships: They are confused about same sex marriages,
homosexuality, divorce and may even think there is nothing wrong with these;
they do not know for instance what Father's Torah has to say about polygyny
(one husband, more than one wife), and Levirate marriages (Deut 25) and just
assume that it is now sin since Yahshua died; the authority of men is
undermined and the feminist movement is growing more powerful by the day; many
children don’t have fathers and the evidence of a fragmented broken society
grows day by day and so many believers remain deceived regarding these matters
and remain captive in Mitsrayim/Egypt. Relationship-
breakdown and mixture remains
the biggest issues of our times.
And so YHVH
shows Moshe “Beth Peor” during the final days of his life and reminds us of the
sin that kept Moshe out of the land of Yisrael and will also keep a future end-
time generation out of the land of Yisrael.
Num 20:12
But יהוה spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon, “Because
you did not believe Me, to set Me apart in the eyes of the children of
Yisra’ĕl, therefore you do not bring this assembly into the land which I have
given them.” (Yahshua came to show us how this was meant to be done)
And so Moshe pleads with YHVH
to allow him to cross over into the Promised land with the nation of Ysrael and
YHVH says “enough of that! Speak not more to Me about this matter”
רַב-לָךְ--אַל-תּוֹסֶף דַּבֵּר אֵלַי עוֹד, בַּדָּבָר
הַזֶּה.
Same words Korach spoke to
Moshe – and Moshe spoke to Korach – “rav lechem” – Num 16:3&7
Midrash 3:24 – how is it that
Moshe says that he has “begun” to see the greatness of YHVH. What about the
miraculous acts of the past 40 years?
Perhaps Moshe now sees
that even greater miracles will be revealed and needed for Yisrael to possess
and remain in the land.
Michaela B. Palchick
Vs 23 – Ve et chanan –
chanan – verb to deal kindly – to give amnesty or pardon – hitpael to deal
kindly with one’s self – this hitpael verbs seems to indicate that a person is
aware of his or her guilt yet they are pleading for amnesty. Note only people
who understand their precarious position will plead for amnesty. Many believers
today believe they have already been granted amnesty and don’t have to plead at
all for anything. If Moshe pleaded for amnesty maybe we need to do so as well.
So what was Moshe’s guilt?
Moshe misrepresented Messiah to the people of Yisrael. What about the church?
Num 20:8 “Take the rod and assemble the congregation,
you and your brother Aharon. And you shall speak to the rock before their eyes,
and it shall give its water. And you shall bring water for them out of the rock
and give drink to the congregation and their livestock.”
The first time Moshe
struck the rock – Shemot/Ex 17:6
Num 20:11 Then Mosheh
lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod. And much water came
out, and the congregation and their livestock drank.
Num 20:12 But יהוה spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon, “Because you did not believe Me,
to set Me apart in the eyes of the children of Yisra’ĕl, therefore you do not
bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”
Midrash – Messiah was
struck once, that is impaled on a stake. His death was sufficient to get us out
of Mitsrayim/Egypt into the promised land. Today many Christians get born again
and saved by the blood of Yahshua – but then instead of going all the way to
discovering their Hebrew identity and preparing themselves for the calling to
return to the land, they return to Mitsrayim/Egypt – to bondage – see more
about the pagan philosophy of Mithras
The
Mithrashic “Jesus cult” that is prevalent amongst believers today still do not
believe YHVH and have failed to set Him apart before the children of Yisrael –
origin of Christmas, Easter, Sunday worship the trinity etc etc…..
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AC3sS-NaYE – Rico Cortez
Even these bold Messianic teachers
seem afraid to mention the explicit origins of the so calls “Trinity” – it is
pagan – it comes from Egypt and is stubbornly embraced by those believers who
refuse to come out of Egypt – this is influenced by Mithrashic philosophy. Many
messianic teachers are quick to point out the pagan origins of Sunday worship,
Easter and Christmas – Why are so many of them quiet about the doctrine of the Trinity?
If Yahshua is not master of all then He is not master at all (Yahshua spoke and
did the will of his Father and our Father, his Elohim and our Elohim - we call
Yahshua our Master and say that we want to follow in His steps) – the ax has
been laid to the root – Matt 3:10 - we must be willing to obey and to come out
of Babylon wholeheartedly.
Rev 18:4
And I heard another voice from the heaven saying, “Come out of her, my
people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.1
Footnote: 1Jer. 51:6 & 45.
If you stay in Egypt too
long, you may never escape its clutches, you may die in Egypt.
Passover (Pesach) is about
COMING OUT OF EGYPT (Mitsrayim). Easter and Christmas and related issues is
about staying in Egypt (in Mitsrayim)
MESSIAH HAS GONE THROUGH
THE AGONY ONCE TO GET US OUT AND KEEP US OUT OF EGYPT. HE WILL NOT GO THROUGH
THE SAME AGONY AGAIN TO GET US OUT OF EGYPT IF WE CHOOSE TO STAY THERE. Heb
6:4-9
And so Moshe could not enter the promised land because
he struck the Rock twice.
1Co 10:1
For I do not wish you to be ignorant, brothers, that all our fathers
were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea,
1Co 10:2
and all were immersed into Mosheh in the cloud and in the sea,
1Co 10:3
and all ate the same spiritual food,
1Co 10:4
and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual
Rock that followed, and the Rock was Messiah.
1Co 10:5
However, with most of them Elohim was not well pleased, for they were
laid low in the wilderness.
1Co 10:6
And these became examples for us, so that we should not lust after evil,
as those indeed lusted.
1Co 10:7
And do not become idolaters as some of them, as it has been written,
“The people sat down to eat and to drink, and stood up to play.”
1Co 10:8
Neither should we commit whoring, as some of them did, and in one day
twenty-three thousand fell,
1Co 10:9 neither
let us try Messiah, as some of them also tried, and were destroyed by serpents,
1Co 10:10
neither grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and were destroyed by
the destroyer.
1Co 10:11
And all these came upon them as examples, and they were written as a
warning to us, on whom the ends of the ages have come,
1Co 10:12
so that he who thinks he stands, let him take heed lest he fall.
Now some people out there may be saying “stop
attacking Christians”. I'm not attacking Chritians I am appealing to those who
are Hebrews and HAVE ALREADY LEFT THE CHURCH. Don't keep one foot in Mitsrayim.
The Torah and all of the other scriptures were
written and given to those who want to come out Egypt (Mitsrayim) and never
return again to Egypt and have embraced a life of pilgrimage and pray as Paul
that somehow they may attain to the resurrection of the dead – Phil 3:11. Not
even Paul took the blessing of being part of the first resurrection for
granted.
I'm talking to the remnant; to the 12 tribes who
are in the dispersion – those who have the faith
of Yahshua and guard His commandments – Rev 14:12
Mal 3:2 “And who
is able to bear the day of His coming, and who is able to stand when He appears?
For He is like the fire of a refiner, and like the soap of a launderer.
Mal 3:3
“And He shall sit as a refiner and a cleanser of silver. And He shall
cleanse the sons of Lĕwi, and refine them as gold and silver, and they shall
belong to יהוה, bringing near an offering in
righteousness.
This time
the returnees will come one by one.
Isa 27:12 And in
that day it shall be that יהוה threshes, from
the channel of the River to the wadi of Mitsrayim. And you shall be gathered
one by one1, O children of Yisra’ĕl. Footnote: 1Jer.
3:14-15.
Jer 3:14 “Return,
O backsliding children,” declares יהוה, “for I shall rule over you, and shall take you, one from a
city and two from a clan1, and shall bring you to Tsiyon. Footnote: 1See
Isa. 27:12.
Mat 22:14
“For many are called, but few are chosen.”1 Footnote:1See
20:16.
Who is
sufficient for these things?
2Co 3:4
And such trust we have toward Elohim, through the Messiah.
2Co 3:5
Not that we are competent in ourselves to reckon any matter as
from ourselves, but our competence is from Elohim,
2Co 3:6
who also made us competent as servants of a renewed covenant, not of the
letter but of the Spirit, for the letter kills but the Spirit gives life.
2Co 3:7
But if the administering of death in letters, engraved on stones, was
esteemed, so that the children of Yisra’ĕl were unable to look steadily at the
face of Mosheh because of the esteem of his face, which was passing away,
2Co 3:8
how much more esteemed shall the administering of the Spirit not be?
2Co 3:9 For
if the administering of condemnation had esteem, the administering of
righteousness exceeds much more in esteem.
2Co 3:10
For indeed what was made esteemed had no esteem in this respect, in view
of the esteem that excels.
2Co 3:11
For if that which is passing away was esteemed, much more that which
remains in esteem.
2Co 3:12
Having then such expectation, we use much boldness of speech,
2Co 3:13
and not like Mosheh, who put a veil over his face so that the children
of Yisra’ĕl should not look steadily at the end of what was passing away.
2Co 3:14
But their minds were hardened, for to this day, when the old covenant is
being read, that same veil remains, not lifted, because in Messiah it is taken
away.
2Co 3:15
But to this day, when Mosheh is being read, a veil lies on their heart.
2Co 3:16
And when one turns to the Master, the veil is taken away.
2Co 3:17
Now יהוה is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of יהוה is, there is freedom.
2Co
3:18 And we all, as with unveiled face
we see as in a mirror the esteem of יהוה, are being transformed into the same
likeness from esteem to esteem, as from יהוה, the Spirit.
