ata YHVHEloheinu melech ha-olam asher bachar banu m’kol ha-amim, v’na-tan lanu
eht Torah-to. Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn ha-Torah. Ameyn.”
(Bless YHVH the blessed One; Blessed is YHVH, the
blessed One for all eternity. Blessed are you, YHVH, our Elohim, King of the
Universe, you have selected us from among all the peoples, and have given us
your Torah.)
Exo 8:20
And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Rise early in the morning
and stand before Pharaoh as he comes out to the water, and say to him, ‘Thus
said יהוה, “Let My people go, so that they serve Me.
Exo
8:21 “Or else, if you do not let My
people go, see, I am sending swarms of flies on you and your servants, and on
your people and into your houses. And the houses of the Mitsrites shall be
filled with swarms of flies, and also the ground on which they stand.

8:22 “And in that day I shall separate
the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be
there, so that you know that I am יהוה in the midst of the land. (Eph 2:12-13)

8:23 “And I shall put a distinction (Heb
– ransom) between My people and your people. Tomorrow this sign shall be.” ’ ”
The difficult verb פדה (pada) describes how one's
submission to a common standard creates a much greater degree of freedom than
that the absence or violation of that standard would.
‘’In the Bible this verb may describe the cultivation of
a field from its wild state, or a change in cultivation from the standard
adhered to by the old owner to the one of the new owners. It may also describe
the transfer of a girl from the standard of her father's house to that of her
new husband's house. To modern tastes this principle may seem horribly
misogynistic, which is why we don't have words that describe it. In Biblical
times, however, a young woman who neither enjoyed the protection of her
father's house nor that of a husband's wouldn't live very long. Her submission
to either standard guaranteed her safety and freedom of movement much more than
an "escape" into the uncharted wild. (1Cor 6:20)
Because this verb describes an effort made, or a price
paid, to obtain collective freedom, it's often translated with to ransom or
redeem (Numbers 18:16, 2 Samuel 7:23, Isaiah 35:10, 51:11), while in the
narrative the old standard is often portrayed as a captor, an abductor, or an
evil slave-driving master. The famous invitation of Yeshua/Jesus to the heavy-laden to
take up his yoke, speaks likewise of a light private load in return for a
priceless collective rest (MATTHEW

8:24 And יהוה did so, and thick swarms of flies came
into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants’ houses, and into all the land
of Mitsrayim, and the land was ruined because of the swarms of flies.

8:25 Pharaoh then called for Mosheh and
Aharon, and said, “Go, slaughter to your Elohim in the land.”
Exo
8:26 And Mosheh said, “It is not right
to do so, for we would be slaughtering the abomination of the Mitsrites to יהוה our Elohim. See, if we slaughter the
abomination of the Mitsrites before their eyes, would they not stone us?
Hebrew
word for “work” and “worship” is the same word – “Avod” As long as YHVH’s
people are under the governance of “Egyptian bondage” they cannot worship as
YHVH has called them to worship – in Spirit and in truth.
Religious
worship in “Egypt” is hard work and leaves you empty and tired.
Exo
8:27 “Let us go three days’ journey into
the wilderness, then we shall slaughter to יהוה our Elohim, as He commands us.”
Three
is a messianic number. Three days separation could mean that we can only
worship in Spirit and Truth when we are separated from false worship and false
worshippers by the true meaning and understanding of who Messiah is – a Jewish
rabbi who came to restore every word and teaching of the Torah to those whom
YHVH calls. (2 Cor 11:4)
There
will a severe and cruel persecution of the faithful remnant by self -serving and
deceiving religious leaders in the last days.

8:28 And Pharaoh said, “I am letting you
go, then you shall slaughter to יהוה your Elohim in the wilderness. Only, do not go very far away!
Pray for me.”
Exo
8:29 And Mosheh said, “See, when I leave
you I shall pray to יהוה, and tomorrow the swarms of flies shall depart from Pharaoh,
from his servants, and from his people. But do not let Pharaoh again deceive,
not to let the people go to slaughter to יהוה.”

8:30 And Mosheh went out from Pharaoh
and prayed to יהוה.
Exo
8:31 And יהוה did according to the word of Mosheh and
removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his
people. Not one remained.
Exo
8:32 But Pharaoh hardened his heart at
this time too, and did not let the people go.
Exo 9:1 And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Go in to Pharaoh and
speak to him, ‘Thus said יהוה Elohim of the Heḇrews,
“Let My people go, so that they serve Me.
Exo
9:2 “For if you refuse to let them go,
and still hold them,
Exo
9:3 see, the hand of יהוה is on your livestock in the field, on the
horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the cattle, and on the sheep – a very
grievous pestilence.

9:4 “And יהוה shall separate between the livestock of
Yisra’ĕl and the livestock of Mitsrayim, and let no matter die of all that
belongs to the children of Yisra’ĕl.” ’ ”

9:5 And יהוה set an appointed time, saying, “Tomorrow יהוה is going to do this word in the land.”
Exo
9:6 And יהוה did this word on the next day, and all the
livestock of Mitsrayim died, but of the livestock of the children of Yisra’ĕl,
not one died.

9:7 Then Pharaoh sent, and see, not even
one of the livestock of the Yisra’ĕlites was dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was
hardened, and he did not let the people go.

9:8 And יהוה said to Mosheh and Aharon, “Fill your
hands with ashes from a furnace and let Mosheh scatter it toward the heavens
before the eyes of Pharaoh.

9:9 “And it shall become fine dust in
all the land of Mitsrayim, and it shall cause boils that break out in sores on
man and beast in all the land of Mitsrayim.”
Exo
9:10 So they took ashes from the furnace
and stood before Pharaoh, and Mosheh scattered them toward the heavens. And
they caused boils, breaking out in sores on man and beast.

9:11 And the magicians were unable to
stand before Mosheh because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians
and on all the Mitsrites.

9:12 But יהוה hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did
not listen to them, as יהוה had said to Mosheh.
Exo
9:13 And יהוה said to Mosheh, “Rise early in the morning
and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him, ‘Thus said יהוה Elohim of the Heḇrews, “Let My people go, so that they serve Me,

9:14 for at this time I am sending all
My plagues unto your heart, and on your servants and on your people, so that you
know that there is no one like Me in all the earth.

9:15 “Now if I had stretched out My hand
and struck you and your people with pestilence, then you would have been cut
off from the earth.
Exo
9:16 “And for this reason I have raised
you up, in order to show you My power, and in order to declare My Name in all
the earth.

9:17 “You still exalt yourself against
My people in that you do not let them go!
Exo
9:18 “See, tomorrow about this time I am
causing very heavy hail to rain down, such as has not been in Mitsrayim, from
the day of its founding until now.

9:19 “And now send, bring your livestock
to safety, and all that you have in the field, for the hail shall come down on
every man and every beast which is found in the field and is not brought home,
and they shall die.” ’ ”

9:20 Those among the servants of Pharaoh
who feared the word of יהוה made their servants and livestock flee to the houses.

9:21 But those who did not set their
heart on the word of יהוה left their servants and livestock in the field.

9:22 Then יהוה said to Mosheh, “Stretch out your hand
toward the heavens, and let there be hail in all the land of Mitsrayim – on
man, and on beast, and on every plant of the field, throughout the land of
Mitsrayim.”

9:23 Then Mosheh stretched out his rod
toward the heavens. And יהוה sent thunder and hail, and fire came down to the earth. And יהוה rained hail on the land of Mitsrayim.

9:24 Thus there came to be hail, and
fire flashing continually in the midst of the hail, very heavy, such as had not
been in all the land of Mitsrayim since it became a nation.

9:25 And the hail smote in all the land
of Mitsrayim all that was in the field, both man and beast. And the hail smote
every plant of the field and broke every tree of the field.

9:26 Only in the land of Goshen, where
the children of Yisra’ĕl were, there was no hail.
Exo
9:27 Pharaoh then sent and called for
Mosheh and for Aharon, and said to them, “I have sinned this time. יהוה is righteous, and my people and I are
wrong.
Exo
9:28 “Pray to יהוה, for there has been enough of the thunder
and hail of Elohim. And I am letting you go, so that you stay no longer.”
Exo
9:29 And Mosheh said to him, “As soon as
I go out of the city, let me spread out my hands to יהוה, let the thunder cease and the hail be no
more, so that you know that the earth belongs to יהוה.
Exo
9:30 “But as for you and your servants,
I know that you do not yet fear before יהוה Elohim.”
Exo
9:31 And the flax and the barley were
smitten, for the barley was in the head and the flax was in bud.
Exo
9:32 But the wheat and the spelt were
not smitten, for they were late crops.
Exo
9:33 And Mosheh went out of the city
from Pharaoh and spread out his hands to יהוה, and the thunder and the hail ceased, and
the rain was not poured on the earth.

9:34 And Pharaoh saw that the rain, and
the hail, and the thunder had ceased, yet he sinned again and he hardened his
heart, he and his servants.

9:35 And the heart of Pharaoh was
hardened, and he did not let the children of Yisra’ĕl go, as יהוה had said through Mosheh.

11:3 “And I shall give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one
thousand two hundred and sixty days, clad in sackcloth.”

11:4 These are the two olive trees Eze_4:3 and the two
lampstands that are standing before the Elohim of the earth.
Rev
11:5 And if anyone wishes to harm them, fire comes out from their mouth
and consumes their enemies. And if anyone wishes to harm them, he has to be
killed in that way.
Rev
11:6 These possess authority to shut the heaven, so that no rain falls in
the days of their prophecy. And they possess authority over waters to turn them
to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they wish.

11:7 And when they have ended their witness, the beast coming up out of
the pit of the deep shall fight against them, and overcome them, and kill
them,
Rev
11:8 and their dead bodies lie in the street of the great city
which spiritually is called Seḏom and Mitsrayim, where also our Master was
impaled,
Rev
11:9 and some of the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations see their
dead bodies for three and a half days, and not allow their dead bodies to be
placed into tombs,
Rev
11:10 and those dwelling on the earth rejoice over them and exult. And
they shall send gifts to each other, because these two prophets tortured those
dwelling on the earth.

11:11 And after the three and a half days a spirit of life from Elohim
entered into them, and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell on those
who saw them.
Rev
11:12 And they heard a loud voice from the heaven saying to them, “Come
up here.” And they went up into the heaven in a cloud, and their enemies saw
them.
Rev
11:13 And in that hour there came to be a great earthquake, and a tenth
of the city fell. And in the earthquake seven thousand men were killed, and the
rest became afraid and gave esteem to the Elohim of the heaven.

11:14 The second woe is past, and see, the third woe is coming
speedily. (now
comes seventh trumpet)
The
most tragic consequence of rejecting or undermining the Torah is the
underestimating the severity and consequences of this unrepentant sin. See
Isaiah chapter 24
Psa 19:7 The Torah of יהוה is perfect, bringing back the being
1Jn 3:4 Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness,
and sin is lawlessness.
1Jn 3:5 And you know that He was manifested to take
away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.
1Jn 3:6 Everyone staying in Him does not sin.
Everyone sinning has neither seen Him nor known Him.a Footnote: aSee 1Jn_2:4

Rom 7:11 For sin, having taken the occasion through
the command, deceived me, and through it killed me.
Rom 7:12 So that the Torah truly is set-apart, and
the command set-apart, and righteous, and good.
Rom 7:13 Therefore, has that which is good become
death to me? Let it not be! But the sin, that sin might be manifest, was
working death in me through what is good, so that sin through the command might
become an exceedingly great sinner.
Rom 7:14 For we know that the Torah is Spiritual,
but I am fleshly, sold under sin.
Joh 16:7 “But I say the truth to you. It is better
for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper shall not come to
you at all, but if I go, I shall send Him to you.
Joh 16:8 “And having come, He shall convict a the
world concerning sin,b and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment –

Jer 33:6 See, I am bringing to it relief and
healing. And I shall heal them and reveal to them the riches of peace and
truth.
Jer 33:7 And I shall turn back the captivity of
Yehuḏah and the captivity of Yisra’ěl, and shall build them as at the
first,
Jer 33:8 and shall cleanse them from all their
crookedness that they have sinned against Me. And I shall pardon all their
crookednesses that they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against
Me.
