Parashat 2 (Noach) Portion 9 Ber/Gen 11:1-32 Zeph 3:9-17.20 Yesh/Is 28:1-16 1 Cor 14:20-32

Bless YHVH the blessed One; Blessed is YHVH, the blessed One for all eternity. Blessed are you, YHVH, our Elohim, King of the Universe, you have selected us from among all the peoples, and have given us your Torah. Blessed are you, YHVH, giver of the Torah. Amein.

ויהי כל הארץ

Our Torah portion:

Gen 11:1  And all the earth had one language1 and one speech. Footnote: 1Hebrew lip or The entire earth continued to have one language and the same words for all of them.

Gen 11:2  And it came to be, as they set out from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinʽar1, and they dwelt there. Footnote: 1Earlier name for Baḇel

‘’The Hebrew word for east is qedem and literally means "the direction of the rising sun."
The implications of this statement are astounding. This is because time, as defined as the distance between two physical events, is not a physical measurement in and of itself. Yet in ancient Hebrew, time and distance refer to the same thing and literally to "the direction of the rising sun," (which we as human beings call the east direction). One implication of this association would be that the origin of all things could have come, does come, and will come from the east.’’ (The proximity of both the Garden of Eden and the ancient city of Babylon)

Quote from BOOK OF YASHER – The book of Yasher is also referred to in the Book of Yehoshua and Second Shamuel.

Yasher 11 - 1 And Nimrod son of Cush was still in the land of Shinar, and he reigned over it and dwelt there, and he built cities in the land of Shinar.

2 And these are the names of the four cities which he built, and he called their names after the occurrences that happened to them in the building of the tower.

3 And he called the first Babel, saying, Because YHVH there confounded the language of the whole earth; and the name of the second he called Erech, because from there YHVH dispersed them.

4 And the third he called Eched, saying there was a great battle at that place; and the fourth he called Calnah, because his princes and mighty men were consumed there, and they vexed YHVH, they rebelled and transgressed against him.

7 And notwithstanding this, Nimrod did not return to YHVH, and he continued in wickedness and teaching wickedness to the sons of men; and Mardon, his son, was worse than his father, and continued to add to the abominations of his father.

8 And he caused the sons of men to sin, therefore it is said, From the wicked goeth forth wickedness.

14 And Abram knew YHVH, and he went in his ways and instructions, and the YHVH his Elohim was with him.

15 And Terah his father was in those days, still captain of the host of king Nimrod, and he still followed strange gods – End quote.

History records the following about Nimrod:

“Nimrod, the King, took a wife.  The wife Nimrod chose was his mother.  So the “son” became both the husband and son of the mother.  In effect making this marriage a “trinity” union in as much as the “husband” was the same person as the “son” united as “one” with the wife/mother.  So Nimrod married his mother, Semiramis, and she became the Queen of Babylon.  It was Semiramis from which the religion surrounding Nimrod and the planets (astrology) evolved.  Nimrod the mighty and ruthless murderer was killed for his crimes against humanity by the sons of Noach.  His body cut into pieces and distributed all over his kingdom by his enemies.  In the face of Nimrod’s death, Semiramis had to somehow maintain her grip and power over the people.  In order to solidify her power she “invented” a religion for the people that would keep Nimrod’s control over them even after his death.  She then gave birth to a son named Tammuz whom she claimed was the reincarnation of Nimrod.  So through the belief that Tammuz was "Nimrod in the flesh" the queen was able to subdue the people of Babylon.  So Tammuz was “Nimrod in the flesh” and “one” with his father who was “one” with his wife/mother through marriage… the unholy concept of a Trinity is born.”

It is no coincidence that the events of the previous parashah portion and the present portion are defined by the wicked sin of ‘’incest’’.

Gen 11:3  And they said to each other, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar.

Gen 11:4  And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens, and make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered over all the face of the earth.”

Gen 11:5  Then יהוה came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.

Gen 11:6  And יהוה said, “Look, they are one people and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do! And now, they are not going to be withheld from doing whatever they plan to do.

Gen 11:7  “Come, let Us go there and confuse their language, so that they do not understand one another’s speech.”

Gen 11:8  And יהוה scattered them from there, over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city.

Gen 11:9  That is why its name was called Baḇel1, because there יהוה confused the language of all the earth, and from there יהוה scattered them over the face of all the earth. Footnote: 1Baḇel is derived from a verb which means “to confuse"

Amidst this confusion and wickedness we have the introduction of the Messiahs genealogy see

Gen 11:32  And the days of Teraḥ came to be two hundred and five years, and Teraḥ died in Ḥaran.

Midrash Speaking in Tongues:

‘’There’s a purposeful connection between what happened on Mt. Sinai and in Acts 2. The two “miracles” from Acts 2 that we always affiliate with ‘’Shavuot’’ or Pentecost are the tongues of fire resting on the people and the speaking of many languages (or tongues).

Is this the first time that fire had rested on people and other tongues been spoken? A well-known Midrash, or Jewish commentary on Scripture, may cause us think twice about saying, “yes,” to this question.

Shemot Rabbah, which is Hebrew for “Great Exodus” records in 5:9, “On the occasion of the giving of the Torah, the Children of Israel not only heard the Almighty’s Voice but actually saw the sound waves as they emerged from Elohim’s mouth. They visualized them as a fiery substance. Each commandment that left the Mighty One’s mouth travelled around the entire camp and then came back to every Jew individually.” It goes on to record Rabbi Yochanan saying, “the Mighty One’s voice, as it was uttered, split up into seventy voices, in 70 languages, so that all the nations should understand.” The number 70 in Scripture is usually associated with “the nations.”

‘’70’’ is the gematria of the Hebrew letter ‘’áyin’’ which means ‘’eye’’ and by extension to understand and

Act 2:1  And when the Day of the Festival of Shaḇuʽoth [a] had come, they were all with one mind in one place. Footnote: aWeeks.

Act 2:2  And suddenly there came a sound from the heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Act 2:3  And there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and settled on each one of them.

Act 2:4  And they were all filled with the Set-apart Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them to speak.

Mar 16:17  “And these signs shall accompany the ones who believe: In My Name they shall cast out demons, they shall speak with renewed tongues,

At the tower of Bavel (Babe), gates in the demonic realm were opened and caused havoc and confusion amongst YHVH’s people to this day.

At Shavuot heavens gates were opened and YHVH’s Words, both understandable and non -understandable were poured out on YHVH’s people by the power of His Ruach Ha Kodesh to bring YHVH’s revelation, healing and blessing to all of mankind.

Synopsis Alexander Hislop Book “The Two Babylons”

Its central theme is the argument that for the most part the Christian Church is the Babylon of the Apocalypse which is described in the Bible -Rev 17:5 The book delves into the symbolism of the image which is described in the Book of Revelation – the woman with the golden cup – and it also attempts to prove that many of the fundamental practices of the Church, and its Modus Operandi in general, stem from non-scriptural precedents. It analyses modern Christian holidays, including Christmas and Easter, attempts to trace their roots back to pagan festivals and attempts to show that many other accepted doctrines may not be correct. Hislop provides a detailed comparison of the ancient religion which was established in Babylon (allegedly by the Biblical king Nimrod and his wife, Semiramis) by drawing on a variety of historical and religious sources, in order to show that the most of the Christain Church is the same system as the Babylon that was mentioned by the apostle Paul in the first century (when he commented on the iniquity that was already creeping into the 1st century Christian church-2Thes 2:7) and the author of Revelation - Wikipedia

“The Queen of Heaven” among all cultures and worshipped as the primary head of this false religion.  Even the children of Israel fell into the worship of Semiramis, The Queen of Heaven, and YHVH sent them the prophet Jeremiah with a warning: Jeremiah 44:17-29 “

“Together, Semiramis and her son/husband, Nimrod started this occult religion of sacrificing babies to Moloch, aka Satan which they especially did on the winter solstice and the vernal equinox in the spring also called “Easter ‘Sun’ Day.” Nimrod’s name literally means “tyrant, rebellion.” The city of Rome was once known as Saturnalia, “The city of Saturn,” and in the Chaldean mysteries, the Babylonian dictator Nimrod was deified as Saturn. His birthday was celebrated on December 25th or “Saturnalia.” In Chaldee, Saturn is spelled as “STUR” which totals 666:

Shin = 60

Taw = 400

Waw (U) = 6

Resh = 200

Grand Total = 666

Semiramis gave birth on December 25th to a son named Tammuz (Ezekiel 8:14) and she ordered the Babylonians to go into the groves (forest) and place a gift under the tree to honor Nimrod who was “cut down” like a tree (Isaiah 14:12-19). She also ordered the people to cut down a tree, bring it into their homes and decorate it with silver and gold balls to symbolize Nimrod’s testicles (Jeremiah 10:3-4).”

“Antiochus Epiphanies was also one of the many historical Anti-Messiahs (Antichrists) whose given name “Epiphanies” adds up to 666 in the Greek alpha-numberic system.

These were the new laws that Antiochus set up:

You shall profane the Sabbath.

You shall change the set times (festivals) and laws.
You shall set up idols. (Including phallic symbols or church towers over your places of worship)
You shall eat unclean animals.
You shall not circumcise.
You shall forget Torah.

The persecutions began in 167 B.C. in the days of Antiochus, but 3.5 years later, the Temple was taken back and rededicated in 164 B.C. This became known as “The Feast 0f Dedication” (Chanukkah) which our Messiah observed in John 10:22.

These laws created by an Antichrist leader named Antiochus are the very same laws that Constantine would later repeat and this is what the entire Christian world is living by today and what will be expected in the Great Tribulation!

False religion like the Tower of babel is a place of false security. Nimrod perhaps thought that they could create a structure that would save them from another flood and the coming wrath of YHVH.

Modern theology assures us that YHVH will never curse mankind again because we are living in the dispensation of grace. The teaching of scripture is that Yahshua came to deliver us from the curse.

Bar’chu et YHVH ha-m’vorach, Baruch YHVH ha-m’vorach l’O’lam va-ed! Baruch ata YHVH Eloheinu melech ha-olam asher bachar banu m’kol ha-amim, v’na-tan lanu eht Torah-to.  Baruch atah YHVH, noteyn ha-Torah. Ameyn.”
